Worst car in the game....?

My least powerful car is in fact a 2010 Insight that I bought to support the Honda cause. I have never actually driven the car, but I do have it.

There are several cars, that unmodified, can't make it up that hill in the demo.
I think the Honda Z Act is also one of them.
My bf found it very entertaining the 1st time he saw one rolling backwards back down the hill. ;)

It's simulating what it would be like. Just like with the Formula GT, the Citroen GT (although that's a real life concept now), the Nike ONE, and so on. This is not new and neither is your complaint. If you don't like the X2010, skip it. Don't ruin threads like this with your whining about how it ruins your gaming experience.

Then you have a very interesting qualification as to "worst" when you lump the best performing car in the game into the top of that category (except in terms of Rally, of course). That's okay though, you can play victim if you want. ;) Anyways, I'm not posting on the X2010 or your tears in this thread any more. If you want to continure this discussion, start a new thread or send a PM. This has gone off-topic enough.

I find it more entertaining when some 🤬 in a veyron drives it into every concievable gravel trap possible.. in my opinion any car that has control of its owner is the worst car in the game, because chances are, thats the guy who just wrecked you. :dopey:
 
I think it's legitimate to claim the X2010 as the car you think is "the worst in the game". Depends on what you mean by "worst", when you answer the question.
Though the OP didn't clarify the question completely, I did take it to mean "the most useless" car... meaning the one you can't do much that benefits you with. (Ie: not good for completing aspec or bspec, or gaining credits, etc.)

I've enjoyed the various opinions here and the basis on which people were taking the question and making their personal judgments. Very fun! :D

Because of course this is ALL subjective!! Operative point being it's someone's opinion.

I've gotten enjoyment and even gained bunches of credits, using some of the cars people say are "useless". I don't think PD would make enough money to even make it profitable to create a game like GT5, if they didn't make it so diverse it can appeal to many different people in many different ways. And if you don't like the Piazza, the x2010, or the Life Step Van... Nobody's going to force you to drive them for pleasure. :D

And arguments about making it like "real life" to prove some point about an opinion being "wrong", is useless when it comes right down to it.
Until they find a way to give you broken bones & brain damage from crashing in the game, it's never going to be like real life. Because in real life, there's consequences, and that changes everything about how you approach things in the game, as opposed to real life. (Or at least hopefully! haha)

(Though I've noticed that pointing this out here is kind of like making a cell phone call in front of a member of The Society For Creative Anachronism at a Renaissance Fair. LOL :D )
 
X2010 for me too, it makes playing the game totally joyless. Maybe if there was an X2010 race I'd be interested but there isn't, so for now I hate it purely for the fact that it's too fast, handles too well and is just boring.

As far as I'm concerned, every single other car in the game has it's place. Yes, there may be some that are slow, others that handle like crap and some that are both, but if they were all amazing cars then that would just be boring too.

Some of the best races I've had on GT5/GT5P/GT4 have been in gutless Kei cars, but I can tell you without hesitation or doubt that by far the most boring races I've ever had have been in the X2010. I only use it because it's the fastest way to make money and finish some of the endurance races, GT5 is still a game after all.
 
By far, the Suzuki Alto Lapin Turbo.

It has a microscopic turbocharged engine, good for sixty-and-something horses, it looks like a horizontal freezer with tiny wheels and the gear ratios are so long that you virtually could reach 250mph in that thing if laws of physics were inexistent.

What about all the slight variations on Japanese econoboxes that litter the UCD?
What about that weirdo concept car with headlights like flies eyes?
What about the lumpy, samey Nascars?
What about the pig ugly fridge that's almost as fast in reverse as it is going forward and costs 14,000,000cr?
What about The Schwimmwagen?

Or are you just hating the people who drive the X2010 inappropriately when online?
Or is it that you can't gold the Vettel Challenge and so can't win the Platinum trophy?
Or maybe it's because it isn't 'real'?

not sure if it have been mentioned already, but it deserves a mention in this thread.
The Tesla Roadster is definetely one of the worst cars in the game.
Why?
First of all, it's far of the real car, which sports amazing acceleration because of its electric motor and torque. In the game, it's boringly slow. Second, due to it being electric, it cannot be tuned, it does not make any engine sounds, and runs out of power if it is to be used in an endurance event. Last of all, it does not really handle like a car with it's looks should do, and all in all the car is just as disappointing as a car can be.
Period.

I think I understand his rage about the X2010.

The FGT, the GT by Citroen, the Nike ONE, they are all concept cars born in GT, just like the X2010. But the point is, those 3 cars are all possible in today's world, and simulating them is something acceptable. But the X2010: imagine when mankind will have sufficient technology (and money) to make a car that can make 450 km/h on the straights, 380 km/h in corners (in Suzuka) and have a very, very light 1500HP engine and bodywork to do something like this. And even if this car is done, we will need a super-human to handle the ridiculous amount of G-Force in the corners. So, yes, you can say this car is terrible, speed is not the only thing you consider when you say something about the worst car ever.

I don't hate the car, though. It's pretty useful on endurances.
 
First: thank you all for some great suggestions. Just to let you know, I settled for a pink prius with green wheels and the toe angle maxxed :)

Second: My definition of "worst" meant the poorest performing car combined with being pig ugly also it must be sendable, so while yes the 2J is as ugly as it gets, it doesn't qualify. The X2010 also doesn't quallify.

Next up is a life step van painted light beige with a big spoiler if possible :)

Anyways, in terms of sheer uselessness, I have to say the the Nissan Cube 03. That is the car that newbies pass over when they are looking for starting cars. The fiat 500 and Citroen 2CV at least can make people laugh. The Cube has no purpose whatsoever (Although a cube race might be fun...The Blazin Boxes.....)

Why must people dog on the x2010? I find it to be very fun to drive, yes this is supposed to be a simulator but the x2010 is just for ***** and gigs.....people just hate on it cuz they can't drive it -_-

Since the useless F1 cars can't be traded, send a Honda z- act, make sure its in that terrible green color. :)

I had a 2cv once for real - drove around 50k miles in the damned thing. The GT5 version doesn't handle any thing like it. The reality is MUCH MUCH worse. It rolls like mad and understeers incredibly, even at 20mph. Power delivery is similar tho in the game version. But having said that, it beat walking (just). I remember the heating had no blower, used to freeze up inside during the winter. haha.

I remember doing a "col" in Switzerland once in first gear only (around 10mph). Brilliant.

I'd vote for the Veyron. Other than on a flat straight, it's a non-turning brick on wheels. IRL however, it's a beaut!
 
All thousands of Daihatsu Sirion and Storias, I don't need 20 of 'em PD.
They are though pretty fun to push with an X1 down the Mulsanne straight.

I asked a friend to send a sweet ride to another friend who's just starting out in GT5 (real friends, not PSN only friends) and he sent a crusty 90's civic! What's the worst car to send back? .... 79 civic ? 84 today? old VW's are too obvious.... izuzu piazza? What are your thoughts?
