Worst car possible?

The worst car is the Honda Beat.

It's slow, boring, ugly and cheap.

No way! The beat handles very well, so it's nowhere near being the worst car.

I've driven one in real life through windy country roads and it was actually quite amazing. Better than an MR2 and MX-5 on similar roads IMO! Not as good as an S2000 though.

Cizeta V16T. The "double engined" monstrosity. Bad at corners, low top speed and likes to oversteer the hell out of everything no matter what settings you have. Also shakes heavily under breaking. I wouldn't pay 50,000 for the damn thing let alone 500,000.

I found something hilarious in the R32 Tuned, you get from the Tuner's Cup, A-Spec. I made a course and it started on a hill. Anyway by R32 (With 700hp mind you) could only get up it at 1km per hour in 1st. It was ridiculous, talk about no low-end torque. :D

Double engined? It has a single V16.

Like a lot of MR supercars it probably needs to be tuned to drive well...ish.

Maybe not exactly the worst, but definitely the ugliest:

The Nissan Cube '02 in Paprika Orange Metallic just showed up in my used car lot.

Eww.

I have. It's called the CR-Z. Ugh. This car is slow, handles like crap, and sounds like a garbage disposal. It literally sounds better from the inside than the outside of the car. Which kinda sucks, 'cause you could be driving it, thinking your cool, and but everyone else on the road is going to be wondering why you're driving a garbage disposal on wheels. I think I'm going to forgo the Seasonal Event with this car.

Has anyone seen the MAZDA Carol 360 Deluxe '62..

It sort of looks like a small NSU, but a bit funkier..

The engine is a whopping 358cc and is pumping out 18bhp....

Currently, mine is slammed with custom suspension, ridiculous amount of camber, racing exhaust, gold paint and proudly siiting in my profile where my Bentley Le Mans was once parked.....

PIMP...

:)

The new Ford Mustang...what an absolute pig, it doesn't go, doesn't stop & doesn't handle. If this is typical of new US muscle cars i can understand why they love the old stuff so much. One word sums it up...pathetic.

God no. The beat is no worse than the Mazda AZ-1 or the Suzuki Cappuccino, but I assume you don't like those either? There cars may be a lot slower than the rest of the cars in the game, but they're in no way boring. The Beat is one of my favorite little sports cars in the game. 👍

wow wow wow, i gotta stop you there, cappuccino ? i loved that car, i can still call that car good enough but yeah its your opinion though

my VW bus has 205 hp now. Unfortunetely i put a 6 spd close ratio trans and the top speed is only 67 mph. gotta buy the fully adjustable one instead.

Mine is fully driven in and has had an oilchange so it now has about 213 Bhp, it had the full diet and other upgrades (including the fully customizable gearbox) and it now can quite easily win the European Event in the Extreme Events, it overtakes Esprits in corners on Deep Forest and one time even on the straight.....

The worst car? To me right now probably the Tesla, bought one out of curiousity and expected furious acceleration but it just bores me silly.
I had even more fun with a Prius I won before........

The worst car possible?

Easy - whatever car PD decides to make you complete a given licence test with. Whenever I do a licence test I usually feel the car I have to do it with is never the optimum one for the task at hand. Virtually all of my licence results are gold and silver, so I don't think it's the driver most of the time!:sly:

An example would be the super license test at Suzuka, the one where you are given an Alfa-Romeo 8C. You'd think you'd want to drive something light, nimble, and has lots of torque. The 8C has none of those attributes and it makes the test much more aggravating then it would have to be otherwise...

I'd also like to defend my AZ-1, on that note. As soon as you lighten it and give it some engine upgrades you will have an ultra-light, mid-engined car that can change direction readily at high speeds and is still real teeny-tiny, allowing you to squeeze through gaps other cars would cause collisions at. I managed to bring it to many victories in fields full of hot hatches, and the only reason I haven't won all of them was because I got too exuberant in one of the Beginner events in Madrid and rolled over after smacking into a rumble strip.

That being said, the worst car I've experienced so far was the Insight. No gears, it sounds like a chainsaw at speed and for its performance and features I could simply tune up my racing kart and get what the Insight offers for a lot less money with a far smaller, more agile vehicle and feeling a lot better about myself.

The worse vehicle that I've encounter in GT5 to date is the Samba bus. Painfully slow!

The Mothership and Tank Car are awesome!

Ferrari 599. Should be a fantastic as the brand Ferrari is. Its just a slug compared to the others in races such as the Festa Cavallino. Chunky and probably must ugly. Cost me 320k!

The only good thing about it is, it acts as a good battering ram in pushing Enzos into the gravel and walls.

Every time I go to the used car lot I see just so darn many of them, lol. The game can bost about having over 1000 cars. But dang if 60% of them are so useless and slow, bad, junk. To many level zero cars....

LOL. The 2cv has become something of a legend. A guy near me restored one. When it was parked in a local car park people were stopping to look and taking photographs. Thats usually what happens with super cars. Seems the 2CV has been so uncool for so long its cool now? It is pretty shocking to race in though. There were real life 2cv races sometime ago but i think they are so rare now they are more cherished. Maybe because of the race series. Im sure a lot got pretty banged up and hammered mechanicly.

In Portugal there was a Series called Popcross in the 70's and the 80's, in rally cross tracks.

I must come here and defend the slow cars....they are much more fun to smoke people in and drive than the supercars...and tuning can turn them into monsters because they have the gift of lightness...

The 2CV is fairly nippy actually (61bhp max with oil change) and the Kuebelwagen is also pretty quick (109bhp max....albeit with startline turbo lag). My '49 VW Bug (here we go again) is the most successful car I own, with 21 different wins..and I have supercars too..

No mention of the 80's Volvo 240 in puke beige in this thread? Without an oil change and an engine rebuild it's like driving a boat. Slow to react to anything, almost falls over on tight corners, takes a day to stop and rarely gets above 60. I love it though.

A friend of mine tuned one to 300bhp, but Imma leave mine standard.

The new challanger
Car is ugly as sin....paper bag ugly. Its hard for me to even think of a car that looks worse from the rear. No fault on PD, as the real car is ugly as sin aswell. That and it drives like ****.

It has two V8s in a single block. You're both sort of right.

The worst car I've driven so far is probably the Caterham Fireblade, purely for the fact that I remember it being a hell of a lot more fun to drive in previous GT's. For a car that's only like 300kg (I forget the actual weight) it doesn't quite handle like it. I remember it being snappy and quick, and it just doesn't feel like it in GT5.
