Worst PS2 Racing game?

I hate F1 2000 because it makes F1 seem like a flat out experience with insane drivers that run you off the road and can't keep any constant speed!

Yeah - that was a real shame - the initial press looked pretty good, but it played like some late 80's arcade game - a real waste.

Is that the Sony one?

I thought it was good - up until you had turn traction control and ABS off, and the frikkin Sony steering wheel that came out fo the game didn't have analogue pedals!!!!

Given the sensitivity of the cars mid corner (and how prone they were to locking up) it made the game in the higher difficulties almost impossible. I could snatch a good qualifying lap now and then, but in the races, forget it.

I managed to burgle a championship in the first difficulty level without traction control and ABS (I think it was the middle difficulty level overall) but gave it away after that.

This year's will be Logitech compatible so I'm looking forward to that.

Oo, that's a toughie. I guess it'd be a tie between Midnight Club Racing and Driving Emotion Type-S.

MCR had bad cars, and the control was bunk. It felt like you were driving in a vacuum the physics model was so bad.

I would have to say, F1 Season 2000 because I has such high hopes after GT3.... That was mistake #1, playing any racing game after GT3...
