M3 E92. The 09 one if it makes any difference.

Master of all trades, and my idea of automotive perfection.

The only difference was that for 09, they added the new generation iDrive and active head restraints.

I would also pick the 2009 E92. It really is the ultimate driving experience.

Chevrolet El Camino

Ford Mustang LX 5.0 vs. Ford Thunderbird Turbo vs. Ford LTD LX 5.0 vs. Ford Fairmont - It was close between the Thunderbird and the Mustang, but I'll take the Mustang. About the other ones, I actually kind of like the LTD (I hate older ones), but not as much as the Mustang/T-Bird. The Fairmont is just :yuck:

I like the Fox LTD too aswell. There's something about it that just has me drawn to it that I can't explain.

Corvette Stingray. After many laps on the track the GTR's tires will be toast while the C7 will still be lapping strong. Plus it has a nicer interior and a svelte low slung body. Also it'll cost you less, both to buy and to run. As good as the GTR is, the Stingray is part of a new American Revolution.

The BMW one is hard, but give me an E90 M3. 6MT and no EDC or nav, just some leather on the seats will be suffice options wise.

As for the final comparison, if it's that era of El Camino Im going Volvo. Plus I just like wagons.

C7 Corvette vs. GTR R35: Tough one for me. Two Iconic Legends of the Pacific. Hmmmm... I'll go with the GTR, because VR38. 👍

@Random Car Guy: Just ignore those raging 12 year old morons talking trash, just like the ones I see trashing JDM or Muscle/Tucks on YouTube especially. How the way they act, either they are ricers with tacky Civics, country boys who are stuck in the 60's with a crappy foxbody Mustangs or just plain idiots. It's hard to tell with them.:lol:

And I'm a fan of both cars. And don't think about talking Veyron or any car with no one on YT, never. Unless there's a intelligent discussion going on. Which is rare on that site.

BMW 3 Series Battle: Oh not another one. Just tingle my BMW inner fan now! I'll go with the 2009 M3 E92 6MT in Melbourne Rot or Laguna Seca Blau and a TT or supercharger setup. I'm happy. 👍

Volvo vs. El Camino: Hmmm, I'm not that much a fan with this Camino. But I'll take that Volvo instantly.

-> Well, time for me to get cracking! After I answered all the questions I will do a "WYR Challenge the Winner" thingy...

Renault 5 Turbo

or

Peugeot 205 T16
^ I've seen the 5 Turbo, so thats my pick.

Here's another one...

Ex-FWPD 2010 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor - $8,950 - 65,635 miles

2005 Toyota Camry LE - $8,495 - 118,254 miles
^ The Crown Vic easy. I'd rather be shot in the head than to own ANY Camry!

Overpowered American hypercars

SSC Tuatara

OR

Hennessey Venom GT
^ The Venom is my pick. At least you can 'actually' own it rather than that vaporware next to it.

I like my supercars to actually exist.

^ I'd pick the 4th one. Because, Porsche potential. :D

Mitsubishi 3000GT/GTO VR-4

or

Toyota 2000GT
^ I'll pick the Mitsu unlike the majority here. I highly doubt I would fit on the 2000GT (just ask Sean Connery). At least I can really appreciate the VR-4.

Would You Rather

Hyundai Genesis 5.0 R-Spec MSRP: $46,800

OR

Dodge Charger SRT8 MSRP: $45,895
^ The SRT-8 is the closest thing to my epic G8 GXP. But the Genesis has so much more potential. Plus the Gen is more livable everyday and can be turned into a Korean VIP:

genesis-vip2.jpg

👍

Aston Martin One-77

or

Aston Martin DB4 Zagato
^ One-77, at least I can drive it hard. Ralph Lauren can keep that DB4 and mothball it!

2.2 Camry

or

Bugatti Veyron
^ Veyron, duh!? I'll keep it for a week then sell it and build my dream lineup along with a house! :sly:

Maserati Ghibli diesel (£48,830)

OR

BMW 535d M-Sport (£45,320)
^ I'd take the Bimmer. That Maser looks guppy looking...

My turn again:

Volvo 850R

or

Audi RS2
^ I love the 850 R, saw it brand new back in the Philippines in high school! But alas, the VeeDub Group's super wagon is in the mix!

rs2-red-backgrnd.jpg

^ This is like a Porsche 996 Turbo wagon or a 970 Turbo Lite. Hard to ignore this one, and the RS2 is my choice!

Would you rather have a:

Cadillac CTS-D (CTS-V Tuned by D3):

or a

Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Tuned by Brabus:
^ I don't know much about D3, but I'm very familiar with Brabus.

-> So it's pretty much quality (Brabus) over a M/T option (CTS-V) hmmm...

-> I'd take the CTS-D Wagon w/ M/T! :D

Anyway, I also had a WYR idea. Which Fox body Ford would you rather own.

1988 Ford Mustang LX 5.0 Coupe

1987 Ford Thunderbird Turbo Coupe

Ford LTD LX 5.0

Ford Fairmont 2-Door
^ I'd go with the minority here and pick the LTD 5.0. I just somehow like the way it looks! It kinda reminds me of this car:

005956184_00593212016324644e8a0f9b2c8fc7c0016ab219836dc7628.jpg

-> And sleeper potential too! :D

Random rally cars:

Toyota Corolla Levin/Sprinter Trueno AE86 (your choice)

or

Subaru Impreza Diesel
^ The AE86 easy! For rally you say!? Then I'd have a kouki-style Levin GTV Coupe. :)

Would you rather have a:

Nissan GT-R Spec-V

or a

Chevrolet Corvette Stingray
^ I'd pick the C7. Make mine a 2LT Z51 M/T!

Here's a WYR:

BMW M3 (E30)

1988 BMW M3 (E30, facelift)

1995 BMW M3 (E36)

2001 BMW M3 (E46)

2009 BMW M3 (E90)

2007 BMW M3 (E92)

2009 BMW M3 (E92)

2013 Alpina B3 Bi-Turbo (F30)
^ I currently own an '06 E46 ZCP. But out of all of them, my next choice would be the E30 version 2, I just love the damn thing (and will be on my manga I'm working on). My next choice would be the E90 w/ M/T. At least the E90 feels like as I was driving a lightweight E39 M5. This was based on my experience on my best friends E92v2 (I've driven the E92v2 M3).

- E30v2
- E90
- E30v1
- E36
- E92v2
- E92v1

*E46 is not counted, because I've already have one! ;)

Volvo 240 Turbo

or

Chevrolet El Camino
^ I'll pick the boxy wagon with RWD (ie. Volvo)! Because, its the best of ALL worlds!!!

==========

-> Ok, my turn!

Best Analog Sports Cars (part 1)

Chevrolet C5 Corvette ZO6 (405hp) '04
Z06-Blk-5.jpg

vs

TVR Tuscan Mk.2 Speed Six S (400hp) '04
7622-100159.jpg

^ The winner will be carried over the next WYR with a diferent challenger! :)

Z06 vs. TVR: Good one Van, it's tough choice between these two great cars. But I'll go with the Z06. Because LS6 and I can modify it into a monster. ;)

Tuned Sedans: I'll have the Brabus so I can destroy tyres.

Spec-V vs Stingray: GT-R. No explanation needed.

AE86 vs Impreza diesel: Really? Hachi-Roku every time.

Hot 3-Series: I'll take the Alpina. It's just more complete than the M3's. Subtly aggressive and hella fast.

Boring box vs El Camino; I'll take the El Camino. Because Street Outlaws.

outlaw15.jpg

TVR vs Corvette: TVR. It's lighter, more agile, makes a better noise and has a greater chance of killing you. The C5 is like an ocean liner in comparison.

Here's a WYR:

BMW M3 (E30)

1988 BMW M3 (E30, facelift)

1995 BMW M3 (E36)

2001 BMW M3 (E46)

2009 BMW M3 (E90)

2007 BMW M3 (E92)

2009 BMW M3 (E92)

2013 Alpina B3 Bi-Turbo (F30)

I'll take the post-facelift E30, I just adore that generation of M3 and I would pick it over perhaps any other BMW.

Volvo 240 Turbo

or

Chevrolet El Camino

El Camino because powa!

Best Analog Sports Cars (part 1)

Chevrolet C5 Corvette ZO6 (405hp) '04

vs

TVR Tuscan Mk.2 Speed Six S (400hp) '04

The TVR, in my opinion, is better as an Analog sports car, so I'll take that. The Corvettes of that era were analog because it was too expensive to go digital, whereas the TVR has always been analog! Also, I've seen one of those and it both sounds and looks brilliant; I've made my choice.

Great idea for a comparo, I'm interested in seeing more of these 'Winner goes on' style comparisons.

Usually Id own the Corvette because it does everything really well and I like their style.

But the TVR, despite its unreliability is the one I would choose. Its got even more character and fits the analog theme so well. And that straight 6 is incredible.

Volvo 240 Turbo vs. Chevrolet El Camino - There's a Volvo I like. Let's take that.

Results:
1. Volvo 240 Turbo
2. Chevrolet El Camino

Chevrolet Corvette Z06 vs. TVR Tuscan Speed Six S - Tuscan by 2 million miles. You can get a Z06 anytime over here.

Results:
1. TVR Tuscan Speed Six S
2. Chevrolet Corvette Z06

Great idea for a comparo, I'm interested in seeing more of these 'Winner goes on' style comparisons.

Same here. I might have to steal the format :sly: But really VB, do you mind if I use that format. It's a great way to do comparos.

Will do! 👍 I just had to vent for a second, hehe. Although on your foxbody comment, I actually like that mustang, they can actually be fun to mess with after some modding. XD

^ I'd go with the minority here and pick the LTD 5.0. I just somehow like the way it looks!

And sleeper potential too!
👍 Alright, more love for the LTD. That's what I was thinking, the LTD has the same 5.0L windsor v8 as the Mustang of that era and I could make it a track monster if I were to mod one.

Now for the WYR Choices:
1. Late 70s Chevrolet El Camino vs Volvo 240 Turbo Estate; I would go for the volvo as I don't like the look of this gen of the el camino. I would've choose it though if it had a chevelle or impala front end though.

2. TVR Tuscan vs Chevrolet C5 Corvette Z06; I have to go with the TVR since it's more rare to see in the US than a Corvette Z06. I honestly often see a C5 z06 on the road.

I'll take the Volvo 240 over just about any other car.

The Corvette, because it's less likely to kill you than an old TVR.

I'll take the dune buggy so I can go tearing around on the beaches.

I'll take the Evo VI. Especially the Tommi Makinen Edition.

Volkswagen Up! vs. Meyers Manx - The Up, really easy. It looks good, it's a good commuter car, and it won the 2012 WCOTY award.

Results:
1. Volkswagen Up!
2. Meyers Manx

Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI Tommi Makinen Edition vs. BMW M3 - I may love Subarus, but I'd take an Evolution any time. I love Evos and STis.

Results:
1. Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI Tommi Makinen Edition
2. BMW M3

Here's another comparo. I took the winning car from my previous comparo and put it up against 3 others. IDEA FROM The Vanishing Boy.

I'll take the Evo 8. It'll crush all of those other sedans in a twisty back road sprint.

VW Up vs Meyers Manx Buggy; awesome, I actually saw one of those buggies yesterday at a car show. Of course, I would probably choose the VW up. I'm not the kind of guy that likes to go to the beach a lot. Also, because the Up has better MPG I believe and is probably safer.

1999 Mitsubishi Lancer Evo. VI GSR T.M.E. vs 2003 BMW M3 e46; The Evo VI shown there, because it's more rare than the M3, that and the Evo VI is my favorite incarnation of the Lancer Evolution while the e46 M3 isn't my favorite M3.

BMW e92 M3 Coupe vs Lancer Evo. VIII FQ400 vs Cadillac CTS-V vs MB C63 AMG; In this case, I would go with the Cadillac CTS-V. I guess I just really like this car (except for the rear end a bit) more than the others.

I'd take the C5 over the TVR.

The E46 over the Evo. I'm a huge BMW fan, can't pass up a E46.

C63 over all the others. I'm also a huge Benz fan. I would pick the E92, but I have the E46 now, so C63.
