I'll take the VW Up, Evo IV TME, Evo 8 FQ-400, 600 Benz, Triabant 1.1, Chevelle, if I get the hardtop one

TVR Tuscan vs. Wiessman: Tough choice, I'll go with the Wiessman, even though I like them both. I can't believe Wiessman is gone for good, the cars they made remind me of a German TVR and Caterham put together. Amazing cars.

Wiessman MF4
TVR

TVR. Strong aftermarket support and I still think its one of the sexiest things on four wheels. And did I mention that straight 6 engine?

Citroen CX, Merc C63, Audi, '88 Mustang LX, AE86, GT-R, E90, Volvo, TVR, VW UP, EVO 6, C63, C63, Merc, Chevelle, TVR, and yes the new owner of TVR is planning to make cars.

600 Grosser over the Rolls Royce. I'm just in love with old school German cars.

C63 over the Chevelle. I just love a car that tries to kill you every time you drive it. I guess the same could be said about the Chevelle, if it wasn't a convertible.

Wiesmann over the Tuscan. I'm not a huge fan of the Tuscan. I just can't get over the back end of it, it's unappealing.

An old bouncy castle?

Yup, I compared it to an old bouncy castle :D That's not necessarily a bad thing, but it just doesn't win me over the same way that the C63 does.

I would... that generation of EVO was still a proper nutter drivers car. Especially the Tommi Makinen Edition. EVO 6 T.M.E for me.

Good point, I guess I was comparing them on interior quality and class instead of the way they drive. I would still take the M3, but I see where you're coming from.

Mercedes 600 Grosser

or

Rolls Royce Silver Cloud II

Benzy :)

2009 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG

vs.

1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454

You did this just for me, didn't you? Two of my all-time favourite cars, what will I pick? Hmm...

That Chevelle is a convertible, so the C63 it is! Actually, the C63 wins even if it was a hard-top, I love my Benzy!

Best Analog Sports Cars (part 2)

TVR Tuscan Mk.2 Speed Six S (400hp) '04*

v

Wiesmann GT MF4 (400hp) '12

I will take the Wiesmann, the styling is one of the best I've ever seen. I will miss the TVR's 'Trying to kill you' qualities, but the Wiesmann is a car that I can actually see myself driving.

2004 TVR Tuscan S Speed 6 vs 2004 Wiesmann GT MF4; The TVR Tuscan easily.

1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454 vs Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG; the C63 AMG. I've seen too many chevelles where I live through car shows and such and while they're very good muscle cars; I would prefer to have a C63 AMG since I rarely see an AMG powered C Class.

Well I guess everyone loves the C63 a lot, it hasn't lost yet. But I'm not going through another comparo with it, because that would be ridiculous. Instead. let's do this (probably the longest comparo yet):

Eldorados - I will take the Gen IX; I adore the Cadillac symbol that comes out of the hood. The front end looks the best, in my opinion, and it is also the most modern Eldorado (I just don't see how Gen X is considered an Eldorado). Why did so many classic muscle cars get downsized, or at least go through major styling changes, around that time? The Mustang Cobras, Camaro '00, Eldorado Gen X: all of these cars look nothing like their predecessors and I don't know why that is. Anyone care to explain?

Needlessly large photobomb Cadillac comparo:
Gen II rear facelift for me. Its obviously going to be one of the older pre 70's cars, the style was great back then.

BMW 2002 Turbo vs. Alfa Romeo Alfasud - 2002, too easy.

Results:
1. BMW 2002 Turbo
2. Alfa Romeo Alfasud

Nevermind the fact that when the 300SEL AMG came out, it made its competitors look like old bouncy castles. :indiff:

And probably 3 times that in torque.

And probably still slow as hell.

'57 Eldorado Broughham  Most expensive car in the world when it came out, at $13,000.

2002 Turbo for me. Dat 70's style.

787B. 4 Rotor engines are awesome.

Oil Crisis.

None of the above. Who needs a Cadillac, anyway?

People who don't live under rocks. So you wouldn't need one...

BMW v. Alpha: Neither. Who needs an Alpha or BMW anyways?

Eldorados: You just had to do this to me, didn't you? I so badly want to take all of them minus the '80s and '90s models, but I know I have to choose one.

OK, I've been looking at these pictures for about 5 minutes now and can't get a winner, so I'll do this:

For a show car: '59 hands down

For a DD: '67 I'm a sucker for hideaway headlights.

Speaking of hideaway headlights...

1969 Lincoln Continental Mark III

or

1972 Lincoln Continental Mark IV

or

1978 Lincoln Continental Mark V

The '69 and '72 had 460 V8s as the only engine option, but the '78 came standard with a 400 V8 and had an optional 460 V8.
