Cayman or TVR?

Cayman

Bentley or Jag?

Bentley

Jeep Wrangler

or

Land Rover Defender

First choice between the Cayman and the TVR, though... But...... TVR Sagias, it would be a unique car in America and fun to drive and race. Then later save up for the Cayman R ;).

I would take the Bentley.

Jeep Wrangler all the way, mod it into a off road beast or as a sharp head turner on a race track or autocross.

TVR for the first one. More ludicrous and loose I find.

Bentley for the second one. Better looking IMO.

Wrangler v Defender though...all too close to call. Jeep is more fun but the Landie is tougher, I'd take either of them any day.

Defender all the way. Would never even look at the Jeep. All you had to say was Defender.

How about...

MGB GT
MGB%20GT%20001.jpg

1968 model. 48,000 miles.

Or...

Mini Cooper S
2012-Mini-Cooper-S-Bayswater-Exterior-Rear-Side-Quarter-1024x640.jpg

2012 model. Delivery miles.

That should be pretty fair.

Mini definitely! :)

MGB v Mini - MGB! My dad owned one and now I must have one as my first car. :)

Skyline v Supra - I'll take the R32, as long as it's a GTR. The Supra is overrated, although I'll probably be pulled over for driving an illegal car. (R32) :P

Isn't the point to post a new car and an old one? The 32 and Supra aren't that much apart.
I also think the Miata should have been paired with the MGB, only makes sense right?

Since the thread title is not explanatory enough I will explain how this "game" works.
1. You post a new car that is currently on sale or will be shortly and an older car which has about the same value bought used.

?

R32 vs Supra: The Supra no question. I think a better on would be Supra modded up to a streetable, and reliable, 700hp vs Lexus LFA stock.

Scud v. 458: The 458 for sure, the Scud has a stupid name and I've never liked the way the F430 looks. I'm not a huge fan of the 458 but I wouldn't turn one down.

Sagaris v. Caymen: Caymen, I don't know much about TVR's but the little I do know I wouldn't want to own one. I also think the Caymen looks better, the Sagaris looks awkward.

Arnage v. XJ-8: The Bentley for sure. The only people who seem to drive Jags around her are eccentric rich women in their late 50's early 60's.

Wrangle v. Defender: The Defender, it's in the top 3 of my dream car list.

MGB GT v. Cooper S: The only people that I've ever seen drive MG's are nerdy men in their 40's who are either divorced or never married. Plus they don't really scream reliable. I've driven Cooper S's though and I rather like them so I'd go with it, not saying the reliability is any better though.

Skyline v. Supra: Not sure on this one, both cars have that aura that attracts nerdy pre-teens who fawn over them like they are some kind of holy Japanese relic. I'd probably go with the Supra because they can look halfway decent in white without the spoiler and a nice set of deep dish wheels.

Wrangler vs. Defender - That's a tough one. I love Jeep, and I love Land Rover. I might just have to go for the Wrangler - Defenders are everywhere around here, it'd be a nice change to see a Wrangler.

MG vs. Mini - I'd have to say Mini. I've loved Minis for as long as I can remember. When I was younger I used to scream "MINI!" whenever I saw one. >.>"

Skyline vs. Supra - Hmm... Skyline. I love 90's Skylines.

Here's one from me:

2013 Ford Mondeo/Fusion, £18k

or

2001 Porsche 911 C4, 48k miles, £18k

Fusion v. 911: Ford Fusion for me, I never liked that generation of Porsche. The 911 is also getting to the point now where it's affordable so there's a lot bros buying them to look cool. Plus I'd rather pay the service bill on a Ford over a Porsche.

Bentley vs Jaguar - Bentley. Apart from the current jaguars on sale. I haven't liked them since the 60's.

Wrangler vs Defender - The Defender. Never been quite sure of wranglers.

MGB vs Mini - MGB. Way better looking than the Mini, probably break down but easily fixed. The Mini Pffft. Thats not a Mini. I would have a real Mini. Not that BMW thing.

R32 vs Supra - The R32's my favourite skyline. So R32 it is.

Mondeo vs 996 - Looks wise defo goes to the Mondeo. I think that the Mondeo, especially with that grilll, is very Aston Martin. I wonder if they ever did make an affordable family car whether it would look something like that. That Porsche has the wrong headlights for me. 18k i could get a decent, almost new (i mean low mileage) TVR Cerbera 4.5. Or if i chose i cheaper one. I could get a Chimera for the summer to. Or have one spare for when the other breaks.

Defender vs Wrangler: The answer is always Patrol. Wait what?

MGB vs Mini: Mini because I want a car that works.

Skyline vs Supra: GT-R. I prefer the R33 to the R32 mainly on the styling front and the Supra benefits slightly more with modifications but in reality if I bought either of them I wouldn't be able to afford drastic mods for either. So as a stock standard car, definitely R32.

Mondeo vs. 911: Mondeo. I like me a good looking sedan. The 996 looks rubbish.

I'd pick the Porsche 911 but its quite an unfair comparison to me, but the Mondeo's appearance sure has improved over the years. who cares if the front looks like an aston martin, still looks pretty nice.

Right you are, They have dropped in price by quite a bit, just like the Boxter.

That might be because they charge extra for alot of things. In fact i just looked at the brochure for the newest 911. 51 optional extras. Some of them are: A rear windscreen wiper, Floor mats, 911 Badge, full Porsche crest centers on your wheels. Then others you might expect as an extra like heated seats, Porsche entry and drive, ceramic brakes etc.

What kind of dribbling, gibbering, pant-wetting, feces-painting, brain-out moron would choose the Supra over an LFA? Have you ever sat in a Supra? As a former owner it's about as opulent as a council garbage bin, and as well appointed as a scouts tent. You'd have to be barking, howling insane to take the Supra over an LFA.

550i vs 740i - Neither. I just don't like the look of them. I'd go for something older if i was getting a BMW. If i had to choose out of them. Probably the 7-series. I think it has more equipment?
