Sorry, couldn't resist

Impreza 22B or EVO V: 22B, even though i really like the EVO 5.

Countach 5000QV or Reventon: Countach, don't like the Reventon at all

Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4 or Dodge Stealth: I'll go for the 3000GT, saw one on the road the other day, all black and sounded amazing, maybe aftermarket exhaust though.

Cayman S or 911 turbo: 911 Turbo

2013 Mustang or C6 Corvette: Corvette, not a fan of the newer mustangs.

Hyundai Genesis Coupe or GT86: GT86, those vents on the hyundai look hideous, yet both front bumpers look almost identical.

why would it get closed?
Your answer:
Apparently in the rush to post in the last few hundred replies, we've all forgotten the rules.

Since the thread title is not explanatory enough I will explain how this "game" works.
1. You post a new car that is currently on sale or will be shortly and an older car which has about the same value bought used.
2. The next poster(S) can discuss why they would choose what they chose and whenever someone else comes up with an idea they go back to 1

New car vs. old car of equivalent price.

Only the FT86 vs '07 Impreza has actually hit the mark in the last 100 posts. Even just going for one or the other (given that motortrend relaxed it a bit for a Porsche example in early days), you only really get the R34 vs R35 (new vs. old) and the Testarossa vs. Countach (equivalent price) cars.

If this is just going to become a "post two cars and say which you'd prefer thread", we're going to have a bad time.

I would also prefer that this thread stay open.

I can happily change the rules if the mods and the other users are OK with it. What does worry me a bit about making the rules so it's every car within The same price range is that it might get out of hand and there would be too many posts asking the question in relation to
The ones answering them

Sounds good to me. Maybe if you specified that comparisons must be 2 or 3 vehicles, no more, and must have very similar prices.

2011 Aston Martin Vantage, virtually no miles, £100,000

The old or the new?

-> ....
The only one comparable in price to the fr-s. The base model. Starts around 25k.
^ Oh, ok. Touche!

2011 Mercury Grand Marquis LS - 4.6l V8 - around $30k new

2012 Chevrolet Impala LTZ - 3.6l V6 - around $30k new
^ Very easy, the GranMarque for sure. Why?

^ Even the Impala NASCAR can't even do this! lol

^ Thats why.

-> That Impala is like the newest Civic, the predecessor is better. (what I mean on the Impala is the RWD Impala SS)

The old or the new?
^ I've never like any of the '80s Astons, so I pick Callum's masterpiece (V8) Vantage.

The new V8 for me too; I don't see any features or advantages that the old one could possibly have compared to the new one.

Rules in the OP have been changed. If anyone has any complaints post in the thread or PM me. Please try not to post a new question until the last one has been answered at least once to keep a discussion going and not just a bunch of suggestions.
