As opposed to the one where McLaren brought their F1 design experience and technology to a car designed by F1's most innovative designer?

Yes that is totally relevant to a porky, plastic GT car.

Well, that's what I read at least.
 
F50. It's everything I dream of when I think Ferrari, and it's undiluted by ESP/TC style driver aids. The engine is the last with a link to Formula 1, it's a proper, razor sharp NA V12, with over 500 horsepower at 8500rpm, in a lightweight, super-responsive, open-topped chassis. Oh and it's got a proper manual gear lever, running through the iconic (and historic) milled metal gate.
