Heres one...

An Aston Martin DB9 (2007)

Ill-fated? Oh you mean the one where Ford brought their manufacturing standards up to scratch, introduced the Vanquish, V8 Vantage and DB9? That ill-fated one?

As opposed to the one where McLaren brought their F1 design experience and technology to a car designed by F1's most innovative designer?

As opposed to the one where McLaren brought their F1 design experience and technology to a car designed by F1's most innovative designer (after Colin Chapman) and then the Germans built it out of lead and stuffed it full of bratwurst and gave it digital brakes (which catch fire) and plastic trim resulting in one of the only hypercars of it's generation to tank in resale values? A car which had as much to do with F1 as I do with track sprinting?

I fixed it for you.

Mercedes McLaren SLR vs Aston Martin DB9 - SLR cause it looks better and it's faster.

Except the part where they've won like a Zillion F1 races together.

Yes that is totally relevant to a porky, plastic GT car.

I think Cracker said it best anyway:

Well, that's what I read at least.

F50. It's everything I dream of when I think Ferrari, and it's undiluted by ESP/TC style driver aids. The engine is the last with a link to Formula 1, it's a proper, razor sharp NA V12, with over 500 horsepower at 8500rpm, in a lightweight, super-responsive, open-topped chassis. Oh and it's got a proper manual gear lever, running through the iconic (and historic) milled metal gate.

Oh and on the subject:
