In that case, I'll adhere to the original rules, and offer a new 'would you rather':
New Jaguar XJL Supersport, $115,000

OR

used Bentley Arnage, 15-20,000 miles, around $100,000

The jag

-> I'll answer my share later...

BT -> I'm about to deal this soon in real life:

Keep my 2004 Honda AP2 S2000

OR

Should I get a 2003-2005 BMW E46 M3

^ I still have 1 1/2 year left on a $555.56/month on my S2K. But if I jump the gun on my M3, my payments would be significantly lower. But I'm somwhat scared on the maintenance factor on the Bimmer compared to my Honda...

SUVs: I'll take the GLK... Not sure why, but I gotta pick one, right?

GT40 vs Ford GT: The GT40, of course. It's the original one of the two, so to speak...

New Stratos vs. Challenger special thingy: The Stratos. It's based on the F430, which wasn't a bad car, I guess... And it's quite awesome, both in terms of looks and, well everything else, really.

R34 N1 vs. R35: The R34. I mean, to me, it's still the poster child of Japanese performance cars... And the V-Spec II Nür is a pretty darn impressive machine - even though I'd prefer the almighty Z-Tune ;) Plus, it's not illegal over here.

CR-Z vs. RZ500: Sorry, I'm usually not biased against bikes, but damn, I can't say that I like the RZ in any ways, shape, or form. So, the CR-Z it is. But you can bett your butt that I'd take that sexy MV Agusta over the CR-Z any day of the week. Beautiful machine, really.

Countach vs. Testarossa: The Lambo... The Countach was (well, is) one mad, mad bull and I'd prefer that over the 'Rossa for sure.

XJL SS vs Bentley: The Jaaaag. I've heard it's an awesome car and quite a hoot to drive. Can't go wrong with that.

S2000 vs. E46 M3: I prefer the M3, actually. From what I've heard, S2000s aren't cheap to maintain either, but then again, that's the situation in Germany, with taxes and insurrance and all - which is what's killing the S2000, economically. All things considered, I'd probably look into buying an E36 M3 or wait a bit longer and try to get my hands on the E92. Most people I've talked to seem to consider the E46 to be the worst out of the three most recent generations of the M3. If you could use the word 'worst' for an M-car, that is.

Anyways:

Alfa Romeo 155 Q4 (with about 100,000 miles on it, ~ 7,800€)

Alfa%20Romeo-155-0.jpg

vs

Nissan Pixo 1.0 (basic trim, ~ 8,000€)

pixo_prasentation_2009_01.jpg

It's the dumb decision, I know, but I'd still go with the Q4...

I'd get the E46, in manual transmission if it's used.

And i'd pick the Alfa, if it works (which I'm probably guessing it won't) and some OEM Alloys - those aftermarket ones aren't very classy...or sporty (not sure what look the owner was thinking). I would consider the Pixo; if it had heavily tinted windows. I suppose the car in black with a decent set of wheels would be okay too.

If you can get past the scary maintenance costs on the E46, definitely go for it. How many clicks on the M3?

I'll take the Q4 over the Pixo.

Finally this thread gets back on track, why does it always take a mod to do it, no one listened to me :(

Anyway:
Jag vs Bentley-- Jag, I LOVE modern Jaguars and I'm not really a fan of Bentley's no matter what era.

S2000 vs M3-- That's a tough one, but I would have the M3 for practicality.

Alfa vs Nissan-- I'd rather spend the money fixing the Alfa every few months than have a Nissan Pixo

S2000 vs M3 - Head says S2000, everything else says E46...

155 Q4 vs Pixo - 155 Q4. The 200€ saved should keep it going for a while... :scared:

S2000 v M3- The M3 would be more practical so I'd take that.

Alfa Romeo 155 v Nissan Pixo- The Nissan is ugly so the Alfa. Even though it's probably not very reliable.

2004 Honda S2000 AP2 vs. 2003-2005 BMW M3 - Ooh, that's hard but I'd take the S2000 if it was myself, but if I was you then take the M3.

Alfa Romeo 155 Q4 vs. Nissan Pixo 1.0 - Yeah, I totally want a Pixo...

I'd take the Honda S2k, I like them a lot, fun sporty car, manual transmission. Only thing I would do is get a hardtop for it, I hate verts and the S2000 looks awesome with a hard shell.

And I'd take the Nissan Pixo then try to roll it.

Luminis -> Oh, the S might be almost the same thing. How come the E46 is the worst? Our E36 is downgraded/detuned compared to the EU-spec & the E92 would still be too expensive hence I'm not ready of owning a V8. (if that would be the case, I'd get the E39 M5)

aadil717 -> Of course it has to be M/T Coupe! I don't even bother at looking at the SMG or the Cabrio...

Clytius -> Thats what I thought too. But I will take some precautions like having a pre-purchase-inspection at the dealership and extended warranty w/ maintenance plan. On which will (might) be still lower than what I'm paying with my S2K...by the way what do you mean 'clicks'?

Pagey279 -> Thats what I'm thinking too, plus a bonus of potential easier payment.

TO THE REST OF THE GUYS -> I have the S2000 already as my DD. :sly:

Well, I'm not that much into the BMW scene, so I can't really tell you anything about the specifics. From what I've heard, it's about the E36 having the better suspension, weight and feel and what not.

Mind you, this is just hearsay and it's about the EU-spec models.

Yamaha RZ500 vs. Cr-Z (new) - I really don't like new the generation of hondas.

Lamborghini Countach vs. Ferrari Tesstarossa - I'll take the lambo, I really don't like ferrari.

Jaguar XJL vs. Bentley Azure - I'll take the jag in a heartbeat.

And the S2000 for vtec. And the Alpha for looks.

Need more "Would you rather?"

Make one yourself if you want
How about:
2007 EVO IX no mods, around 50k miles. with some cash left over for maintenance and parts that may break
2007-mitsubishi-lancer-evoltuion-spoiler.jpg

or
Brand new 0 mile full warranty v6 mustang (not the premium)
13mustang-h.jpg

V6 'Stang vs. Evo: I'd take the Evo. I mean, I love Mustangs and all, but it's only the V6 one... So, yeah, the Evo it is.

S60R vs. 350Z: The Z, please. Personally, I consider Volvos to be some of the blandest cars around, really.

I would take the Evo over the Mustang. The V6 Mustang doesn't appeal to me.

I personally love Volvo and I'm not a big fan of the 350z, so S60r. I feel the S60r would be a much better daily driver.
