Cobra just because no one would recognize a Daytona around here. Plus I think it looks cooler because convertible.

On the topic of Shelby's...

BMW M3 vs Audi S4

Very tough one for me, I love fast Audi's in general but not so much the newer generations. So I think I'm going to have to go with the M3.

On the topic of Shelby's...

1967 GT500

1969 GT500

Meh, don't care for either of them. Soooo the '67 for me, the back end looks better. But when I say better, I mean less crap

American cars aren't my thang...

Personally I like the '67 more, but the rear end on the '69 screams hell yes to me....mostly the taillights and and giant square exhaust pipes. Love those.

That's more like it!

Also very tough, but the Mazda please. It's simply a more appealing car to me, plus I like the styling inside and out more than the Golf.

E90 M3
or
Audi S4?
^ The E90 M3 easy. And not because I currently own an M3 (E46), its because this specific E90 M3 pays homage to the great naturally aspirated V8 M cars, the E39 M5. On which they both have somewhat similar characteristics. And since I drove both drove E92 M3 (best friend) and the E39 M5 (ex-boss), this is my favorite out of the E9X generation M3. Make mine a M/T with the ZCP package please!

Shelby Daytona Coupe

Or

Shelby Cobra

^ Since the original versions are stupid expensive. So I have to resort to the Superformance & Factory Five replica specs (since these dudes are still currently building BOTH of these things).

-> My choice is the Daytona Coupe. Because these are rarer even in the replica market, the Cobra is like the Camry compared to the Daytona! Make mine a smoked gray w/ no liveries & stripes with a Roush 427 crammed on it!

...just because no one would recognize a Daytona around here.
^ That is the whole point! I just love to see the shock of their face and have a question mark plastered on them! Just like the NSX (as a Ferrari), or even my S2000 (they think its a BMW).

-> And unlike you folks struggling to pick which one, I didn't even flinch! :sly:

1967 GT500

1969 GT500
^ Both please! But I will be driving the '67 more and the '69 will be my Car's & Coffee car! ;)

Golf R

or

Mazda 3 MPS/Mazdaspeed 3
^ I'd take the discreet "GolfeR" anyday. It has better overall balance compared to the later model Joker-faced Mazda. And make mine a 5-door w/ 6M/T.

Mazda 3 MPS. Would prefer BK to BL but overall it's just got more character than the Golf. The Golf is technically superior, but the MPS is more of an animal still with great handling characteristics.

  • Jaguar F-Type
  • Audi S4
  • Shelby Daytona Coupe
Both the Cobra and Daytona are nice but even when it comes to replica car, you see disproportionate of Cobras in comparison to Daytona replicas.
  • 1967 GT500
It would be nice if they had this car in more games. I think this is one of the best looking Mustangs/GT500's ever.
  • Mazda3 MPS (Mazdaspeed 3)

^ Oohhh a tough one!

BT -> That V12 scares me a bit and the 8 is not even a CSi. But either way I just love the damn thing! Because pop-up head lights! 👍

VW Golf R
Or Mazda 3 MPS?

Mazda 3 MPS, especially if Im using my own money.
More raw, more character and more "interesting" dynamics. Love Mazdas.

As for the BMW vs Infifiti, that is not easy, but Id go Infiniti as you can actually fit adults back there, and the interior imo is alot nicer.
Running costs likely less too. Plus it's V6 actually sounds pretty good.

I am so jealous here no you have no idea. The E46 and E39 are legends (imo) and you own an E46. The E9x is stout too. So awesome. 👍
Have you addressed the rear subframe/floor on your E46?

Golf R, Infiniti. The Golf is far more refined and generally of higher quality. The Infiniti is much newer and benefits from a lot of technology, and would likely drive a bit better.

I love reading everyone's responses to my Would You Rather Posts. Many interesting viewpoints. I will try and create a new one each day!

'67 GT500 because looks.

Golf because I don't know.

Infiniti because reliability and not a BMW.

Have you addressed the rear subframe/floor on your E46?
^ No not yet, but its on my future plans. Since I got the car just last Sept, I'm just sorting some things out. Since I don't track the car, I don't have to worry too much, my priority at the moment is to bulletproof the VANOS system. And I have the warranty on it, so no problem for now.

BT -> I have a video treat:

What would pick?

FR-S

or

RX-8 R3

or

S2000

:)

Mazda RX8 R3.

It has great nimble dynamics like the others, and has 4 seats with only a marginal weight increase.

Plus that rotary revving to 9k smoothly, it's a misunderstood engine as its actually reliable with proper care.

And lastly I LOVE the way it looks in and out. And it has the best interior of the group too.

By now you can probably tell I really like RX8s and Mazdas lol.

Heres the video in case anyone is interested... Skip to 0:40, because the car isnt running until then

Nice! 👍

'67 GT500 vs. '69 GT500: The 67 wins hands down :D! Make mine a gloss midnight black with firehouse red stripes, Eleanor bodykit, built 428ci V8 Supercharged with a custom 6 speed tranny and sitting on grippy tires and BBS RKs or AR Torque Thrust rims. :trouble:👍

VW Golf R Mk6 vs. Mazda 3 MS3: Tough one here, ummmm.... I'll take BOTH! Because Sport Compacts or Hot Hatches. 👍

BMW 850ci vs. Infiniti G37: Hmmmm.... They are good cars and are completely versatile. Ugh, I'll take both... G37 for daily driving and for the track/weekends and the BMW for only the weekends and even once in a while, a car perfect for that business meeting or proposal and for pop up lights. 👍

FR-S vs. S2000 vs. RX-8 R3: Tough one here again! Just give me them all here. Because RWD, high revving, lightweight, and rotary engine. :D

S2000, I've always liked these but never got a chance to drive one. The BRZ and RX8 are both nice cars, but I think I'd have more fun driving the S2000. Vanish, it would have been interesting to see that review with the newer rwd Hyundai Tiburon amongst those cars.

For me that's not the point. If I drove that Daytona coupe everyone would be like oh cool that's some Shelby. If I drove a Cobra they knew about but had never seen one their hair would stand up on the back of their necks when they saw me in it and even if they got to sit in it.
