Would You Rather:
2005 Porsche 980 Carrera GT
or
2003 Ferrari F60 Enzo
^
I'll take the 980 hands down. Sure the F60 is a tech wonder, but I'm for purity anyday! I'll bet that the drive will be more immersive on th 980 compared to the F60.
I'm sure that someone has asked about this comparo by now but...
Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano
Or
Lexus LFA
^ The Ferrari is just a mechandise on wheels its just not the same compared to the (550/575) Maranello.
While the LFA is a Ferrari should've been.
I'll pick the wail of the LFA.
Would you rather have a:
Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454 '70
or a
Ford Mustang GT500 '69
or a
Chevrolet Camaro Z28 '69
or a
Pontiac Firebird Trans Am '70
^ The Chevelle doesn't deserve on this list, simply because it's more epic compared to these
lowly Pony Cars.
To me the Chevelle along with the GTO are real muscle cars! My choice is obvious.
2013 Ferrari 458 Spider
or
2010 Pagani Zonda Cinque Roadster
^ If only that the Zonda has the 6M/T, it would an easiest choice. But it's the Cinque with that 6S/T (ugh). Despite that,
I'd still pick the Zonda as I see 458's everyday here in Vegas and I'm beginning to be sick of it...
2004 Chrysler ME FourTwelve Concept
or
1995 Ford GT90 Concept
^ Lol wut!? A fragile (functioning) concept car against a hardcore full-spec developmental prototype?
I'll pick the ME-412!
1972 Ford Gran Torino Sport 429 SCJ 4V (7.0L) V8
375hp/450 lb-ft
vs
1970 Chevrolet Camaro L78 396 (6.6L) V8
375hp/415 lb-ft
^
I'll pick the Gran Torino. Clint Eastwood coolness with that big V8 to impress old folks never fails me! That Camaro is just another Camaro for me. (sorry 'Maro fans)
2013 Audi A1 Clubsport quattro: ($55k)
OR
2014 Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG ($50k)
^
I'd pick the A1Cq. It will be much rarer and much more special compared to the A45. Plus in five years the A45 will be all over the place while the A1Cq will be a rarer breed. And the Audi's profile is much more appropriate, the A45 looks like a mess!
How about one I'm actually, can't believe it myself, considering?
2013 Scion FR-S
Late 80s Porsche 911 (930) Carrera (non turbo)
They are about the same price and have about the same hp.
OR, a Porsche 944 with about $19K left over for maintenance (which could get a new Mazda 3 for everyday driving and going to get parts for the Porsche).
^ I love the 930 as much as the next guy,
but are you prepared for the classic Porsche adventure of keeping it running and the 944 is no exception here. The FR-S (I much prefer the BRZ), is a faultless choice in this comparo. But you have to make the payments, so pretty much the BreezeFreeze will stay stock for a while.
I say: get a cheaper 930 and leave $20K to get a reliable used car and the rest for the 930's upkeep!
Here's another one...
1969 Holden HT 350 Monaro GTS
1969 429 Mustang Fastback
^
The Holden of course! I'd like to see other (American) Muscle Car fans
gasp! As their encyclopedic knowledge of these cars gets twisted! Plus right drive V8!!!
AMG & GTS(even though I like the Mustang, it's double the price of the Holden)
1974 HQ V8 Sandman
1974 XB Falcon V8 panel van
^
BOTH!!! As they were both unique! And give the Gremlin and Pacer fans the jaw-dropper!
Since I'm bored:
BMW Z4 Roadster ($45k)
Audi A5 Convertible ($43k)
^
An open-top originally developed as an open-top is always superior compared to another car that isn't (please see 'Miata', 'Boxster', or 'S2000').
So my obvious pick is the Z4.
BT -> My Turn.
=Developmental Supposed-To-Be Production Cars=
Chrysler ME Four-Twelve/ME-412 '04
Jaguar C-X75 '12
^ Both bad-ass in their own respect! Sadly, they will never see production.
