Vita looks nice but dammit I've got to use the wheel with this title.

I'm going ps3. After XCOM though lol.

Priority list

1 XCOM
2 WRC 3
3 open to suggestions. Thinking about F horizon but I'm not really into those open world racers.
I'm edging towards persona 4 vita actually.

So no triple screen support in the demo? Hopefully this is just for the demo and not the final game....

I haven't a clue on that one mate.
I'm not fortunate to have triple screens either.

Did the previous games support it?

Not sure honestly, I didn't have triples then. I don't see the games listed at the "widescreen gaming" site so they might not have; hopefully it is simply a driver update/config.ini hack... if it is anything else I will have to just edit their programming files and hope the launcher doesn't overwrite them.

Also on your other topic, I tried Horizon... it's okay, but it will only be a rent for me personally.

Also have some wierd V-sync issues; with v-sync forced at 60 fps (for my 60 Hz monitors), it dips down randomly to 30 fps and locks there for a minute or two until jumping back up to 60 fps. When the majority of the race is in 60 fps and you have 30 fps dips.... 30 fps is unplayable...

I will have to test it without V-sync in 1080p, which I know most likely I will get screen tearing to hell on dual 7870's... grrrr.

Otherwise, the game looks fantastic, textures are well done, and lighting looks great. I will have to wait on commenting on handling though; I just used a 360 controller, I'll hook up my wheel after dinner.

Neema, any other PC/triple screen guys, how are you all faring with this?

Does anyone know the system requirements for the demo?
Kind of annoyed Milestone doesn't even have the needed specs listed on their website.

No problem.

Ya.... so it looks like there is no wheel support in the demo.... It won't detect my Fanatec CSR. It just shows up as a joystick.

So, I am pretty much left with using a wheel as a joystick with a huge dead zone (I mean f'ing huge), no force feedback, brake and accel pedals are literally on/off, game won't detect my 'down' arrow key when navigating the menus, V-sync/fps issues, and no triple screen support.

PC version gets a 2/10 from me. Step in the right direction, but not nearly close enough.

That's being nice because of the updated graphics and sounds.

Idiots at Milestone, we don't use a keyboard and mouse to drive.

Demo detected my DFGT just fine so wheels certainly supported.

PC or console?

Does it give you FFB, dead zone, etc settings? What about sensitivity?

If you could post a screen shot of the settings menu that would be great.

I might have to drop back to older drivers/fw in case that is the issue.

I really want to play this game with a wheel.

You said keyboard and mouse.... and I was wondering why in the world you'd use a mouse to playing a driving game.

That was my point...

I'm confused here.

Played the PC demo, not bad, but I can't give proper feedback until the up/down arrow keys work in the wheel options. Couldn't scroll up to change deadzone or sensitivities, just change FFB strength.

Only quickly tried single rally and the car seemed very planted, which was different to my experience on the PS3 with the pad, seemed to slide plenty there.

Still fun, but I can't get a proper impression without being able to set the wheel up correctly. I think it treats the pedals as single axis too, but can't confirm as the option is just 'wheel,' not 'G27 combined pedals' etc.

PC. I also had no issues using the d-pad on my wheel in the menus.

Hmmm.... I guess I have some tinkering tomorrow to do. Plug and play HA.

I was having problems with my down arrow key on my keyboard not working; I did find that it only happens when my wheel is plugged in. So ya... It has something to do with the "joystick" detection instead of a wheel.

I really wish someone else was using a Fanatec on PC for this. If you are please give me a heads up!

I'm disappointed :( game is not yet available in stores so ill have too wait until 19.12.2012 and be really jealous

Have you tried the CSR in PS3 mode. Should be recognised as a G25. I know my CSR Elite works much better in F1 2012 on PC when in PS3 mode.

Where you're from? I can see people around the world already playing it. Hope you get it soon.
