Ok I am very annoyed at the moment. Just started road to glory and am on about the 4th challenge in the N3 car. What the **** is the point on ability points I need 6000 to get 3 stars so far my best is about 2500 I dont see how its possible. God only knows how many points later events will need. You get points for crashes and rolls how the hell can be classed as an ability or skill. Ok rant over but who else thinks ability points are a load of crap?

I'm awaiting on full PC version to arrive in mail so I thought I'd try the demo.....

What a load of BS!!!!

No triple screen support
No support for the use of more than one controller such as a DSD shifter at one time.

I mean come on, in this day and age of PC sim racing.

I hope to god the full version has these options, if not I just wasted $50.

I share your disappointment, until i got the game. Those all extra challenges are made in such way so you could beat it. No one does impossible challenges, well except those impossible redbull challenges in GT5 but those are accomplished with wheel so either way nothings impossible.

If i were in your place i just try to to better every time, practice makes you better. Firs i did 4:36 in demo but after adapting my self and learn the car i finally manage 4:04 :) Practice more man, and good luck 👍

I like the game so far, driving with steering wheel is very involving. I started with improving set-up of the cars just to find out I can't use them in online race, so little gripe here. Best way to approach game if you are online racer, is adapt to default setup and memorize tracks.

Buggy as hell the usb pedal on pc dont work for me , plug the csp direct to the wheel . Tried to set linearity by pressing f2 on the full game, after every step the controller cant stop scrolling
When it works, pdals feel on/of when pressed instead of like a pedal.
Stages looks good but the control are very very bad

Game is even more attractive after seeing all those footages, it makes you want to play it 👍

Yes ussr I think you are probably right and I just need more practice. The cars are a bit tricky to control with a DS3 and I think thats half the problem. I am liking the game apart from the thing above that I have said

In this case demo is representative of the final product lol.

There is no triple screen support.

But hey, at least you're one of the lucky ones whose wheel works properly.

So I found with my porsche gt2. if you hit default controls, dont remap the axis, just set your buttons and it works properly more or less. still cant hit up in the menus, but other than that it's good. PC demo btw.

Just gotta play with the settings to make it good.

I didn't get the chance to pre-order the game and I won't be able to get it for a while as I'm short on money. Does anyone know how much memory the game takes up? I'm running low on space on my PS3, I had to delete COD: Elite, the WRC 3 demo and the F1 2012 demo just to install Shift 2. I should be getting the hard-drive from my sister's PS3, but I'm not sure when.

I think i found a solution that might help you enjoy this game.

So this is how it goes. Shut down left and right monitor, leave only middle one turned ON :) :D But anyway i have to wait fort my copy of WRC 3 until 19. thats next Friday

So can anyone confirm that the full pc version has triple screen support and multiple controller support????

Or is the demo just limited of these features?

It only says about 6MB on the box so no install data.

How can this be correct? There a (Be prepared) Trophie ......Win a single Stage in a Online mode using a Personalised Set-UP

Supported wheels:

Microsoft Official Xbox 360 Controller
Microsoft Xbox 360 Wireless Racing Wheel with Force Feedback
Logitech Driving Force GT
Logitech Driving Force Pro
Logitech G25
Logitech G27
Fanatec Porsche 911 Turbo S
Fanatec Porsche 911 GT3 RS V2
Fanatec ClubSport Pedals
Thrustmaster Ferrari F430 force feedback
Thrustmaster RGT Force Feedback Clutch Racing Wheel
Thrustmaster Ferrari GT Experience 3 in 1
Thrustmaster T500 RS
Thrustmaster Ferrari 458 Italia

Don't have one of these you're out of luck.

No triple-screen and piss poor wheel support. I like the game, but come the f on.

Support for Clubsport Pedals, and two 911 wheels but not a Clubsport wheel or CSR-E? Weird... the SDK supports all Fanatec hardware. So they just didn't bother to make a profile I reckon.

Oh well... guess I will have to wait with my ClubSport Wheel until SMS makes pRALLY.

ps. I had a laugh when I saw the 360 controller in the "wheels" list. I mean I can toss it like a frisbee, but I doubt something will happen on screen if I do. lmao

Finally got my hands on the game. Not really enjoying WRC3 as much as WRC2. Graphics, sound and physics have improved hugely and the new stages are great but they've removed the the detailed career mode which was the highlight of their previous game for me.
They've also removed the ability to use any car on any track. So all the group B and 60s 70s cars can only be used in the arcade mode on limited tracks.
Does this unlock as you progress through the game or will you always be limited to using these cars this way?

Can you elaborate on this? Do you mean stuff like sponsors/R&D?

That also kinda sucks if you can't use any car everywhere. Don't understand why they would remove that

The game drives OK. It's a step up from WRC2 which only managed to stay on my harddrive for about 10 minutes :)

But my CSR Elite gets recoginized as a joystick, with no FFB :banghead:

Finally got my wheel working by putting it in the G25 mode, but than i can't navigate in the menu's :banghead:

This was solved by also connecting my Xbox360 controler and use this for navigating.

Unbelieve that they make a racegame, have the fanatec logo at startup and not supporting their topline wheels.👎

I have no doubts that they will correct that in a patch.

I tried online only briefly so maybe I overlooked something or something was disabled by room owner, will look more into it today

...but they've removed the detailed career mode...

You mean, starting from the bottom and working your way up to the WRC? That was the whole reason I liked WRC 2!

But, my hopes are still up for this game. I'm trying not to let any negative things people are saying put me off it...

I feel a bit stupid. I was saying yesterday about how I need to get 6000 ability points on 1 stage. Well it was actually a rally event with 3 stages so I only needed to get an average of 2000 points per stage lol.

Really enjoying this on pc at the moment, must confess I haven't enjoyed rally game as much as this, not even DiRT2 and DiRT3 , GT3RS works well. FFB is good at 80%, portugal stage is where im at at the moment, the Scenery and FFB on that stage is :censored:ing GOOD , I can't get CSP to work via usb though. bummer, needs to unplug the usb and plug it directly to wheel everytime im playing this.

Yep, very enjoyable if you dig more into the game, I have PS3 version and I'm using G27, no big problem there, just rev lights on the wheel stays randomly on after race is finnished, but they are ok when driving. I think every WRC fan should buy this, so they can have bigger budget next time.

Thank you Hwangm!

Got the full game installed now. Wondering if anyone can offer tips. Only full rally games ive played is dirt2/3. So I try this, and even after setting the difficulty to 20% Im getting last in the first two races in road to glory. Granted these runs are far from perfect, occasionally crashing and improper gear changes. But even on a decent run still 20+ seconds behind 1st. Any generic suggestions?

I have no doubts that they will correct that in a patch.

I will wait for it then. The game will become cheaper while I wait for it anyway. :)
Besides, still have to wait for my basherboard anyway.
