I didn't notice any difference between demo and final game, but you can adjust the car settings in the final game and that makes a difference.

Finally those settings make sens now 👍 althoug equal ground was fun too:crazy:

Argh Taking forever to get the Escort. Anyone else having trouble getting a decent result on the R2G Argentina stages? Iv managed to win all the other stages with 3-10 second gaps to 2nd. But I'm 10+ seconds slower on all the Argentina stages... EDIT made it a little further in the game. It was just the crappy Proton holding me back.
Is the 60s Mini Cooper on the PC version?

I just picked it up for my PS3, pre order from gamestation. They didn't have my mini code, apparently it wasn't sent to them, only the xbox codes were sent. Bloody annoyed. Dude told me to email the powers that be. I had to tell him to give my pre order receipt back for proof.

Contacted pqube. Mike sent me a code via email for the mini and then a series of emails checking up on me to make sure all was okay. I initially contacted him on a Sunday thinking he'd get back to me within the week but he got back to me within an hour on the Sunday from his blackberry. Extremely impressed with the level of service.

Brilliant game! First game since F1 2010 where I've spent hours on end playing it on single player.

My Amazon Mini code didn't work, but I tried this morning and it worked. Mini is sooooo much fun lool.

I love driving the 2000's cars, such nice engines! The career mode for me is more immersive, the old Junior-PWRC-SWRC-WRC, got tedious. For me personally, I understand if others had other views.

Although some ability points are just stupidly out of reach - why do you get points for rolling or crashing????????

If you find it hard to get 1st place and get full ability points, just get them separately. You can get 1st place and continue back to the stage select menu, then do the stage again only this time drift as much as you can and it doesn't matter what place you finish. Most hairpin corners you can get 200-300 points with out too much effort.

I find it just give me a reason to go back to any challenges I didn't get first time.

Hi All,
Is there a glitch on this game ? or have we got cheats already "Col de Turini monte-carlo" pc version the fastest time is 00:53.28 if this is cheating then the leaderboards are compromised hope milestone keep an eye on this!!!!!

Yeah I spotted that too on a few stages, times like 38 seconds in a fiesta s2000, when the rest of the players are lucky to get under 3 minutes in a WRC car. I think they could be keeping an eye on it, as I think I've seen one of those times taken down, but there was a new cheat time back again the next day.

I knew I shouldn't have cracked and started reading the posts...still eleven days before I get my PS3 back.

Glad you're all having some fun though.

It's bloody awesome and the best PROPER rally game since RBR and the Sony WRC series.

Glad to see most are enjoying this game, can't wait to get my hands on it myself but got some long overdue bills to pay this month so looks like i'll have to wait until next payday to finally get stuck in :grumpy:

Been playing the demo at least once everyday and loving it more and more as i get better at it.

Weird how i've read reviews that have lower scores than the original WRC and WRC2  not that they really matter as the demo has got me hooked and looking forward to the final product.

No they don't matter to those in the know.
However small developers can really get hurt with bad reviewing.

Us faithful who take a keen interest in these games rely on each other for our info.

The gamers who are middle of the road and who milestone would want to attract are the consumers who will pass on this due to shoddy reviews.

That is a shame. This is far better than Dirt 3 IMHO. But maybe the mainstream review sites are more in tune with mainstream gamers after all. It's us who are the odd ones.

I think it's disgusting this couldn't scrape an 8 from most sites. Certainly doesn't deserve 5/6.

When developers improve there titles this should be commended. Not marked backwards.

This game just keeps getting better and better. It's the spiritual successor to RBR. It's not the prettiest and not the best designed but it feels like rallying. The more I play it and understand it the more it makes me feel like I'm driving a rally car. I think it's a complete injustice that sites like IGN have given this a 5, just proves that they don't have a clue what they are talking about.

Word for word i couldnt agree more:tup:👍

Got the game yesterday, its a nice change from track racing. Its so intense on the wheel, great fun:)👍 Its gona be a tuff challenge to top 10 the leaderboard i think, my best on Espana La Mussara is 4:12.08 in a SKODA top spot is 3:49.87 so a bit to go yet, still not bad after a day.

I really like the FFB in this game, there's a massive difference between different ground surfaces, definitely one of the best things in this game

There is a bug in the game, the last 3 rising star head to heads are not possible to do, at the start of the stage the car just revs up bouncing off the limiter, then it rolls backwards and the controls are not responding.

Anyone else experiencing this?

What platform? I haven't gotten there yet, but I will let you know when I do

Well, it's to be expected. When was the last time a site like that understood the finer aspects of any particular motorsport game with vanilla only content?

Curious about wheel settings. The game seem to limit the steering input to 180 degrees for my G27. I tried initially with 100 % force feedback but that just made the wheel work at maximum output with hardly any force feedback just a lot of centering spring. However sometimes it feels like I run inversed force feedback effects?

So far my experience running this with gamepad is much more solid but hoping I can improve.

Worthless reviews aside, how does the multiplayer work or compare to DiRT3?

So i bought this game from gamestation earlier..it was a pre-order copy (they obviously didnt shift them all), so i got the Mini cooper DLC free!

Im really enjoying it so far, doing the road to glory, up to 119 points now, the only bad things for me is the annoying menu music and the quite long loading times..but overall its a very good game! id give it 7/10:tup:

I've not played either (WRC 3 is in the mail, should arrive either today or on Monday/Tuesday), but what I've seen/heard is that it's a bunch of ghost cars driving 'round the stage, basically just like a real rally only you can see everyone else's lines and stuff, and you can see if someone cheats that way too. If you like the game, and want really tough competition, organized online rallies are the for you :)

Maybe in a couple weeks we can try to start something on GTP? :)

Allright, sounds good enough to me. By the way, I assume it's simultaneous. Am I right?

I loved the demo and I'm planning on getting the game sometime after the release of Most Wanted. I'd definitely participate!

Most folks like to get to know the track a little better first, maybe even complete the career before heading into online territory, that's why the above only noticed a few online.

True, you'll always get a few folks who jump on early - but the WRC games in general tend to leave you nose deep in a ditch or upside down if you don't know the stages...and 3 is a lot tougher from what I've seen. So I'm guessing most stay offline until they know their way around - it will be very lonely trying to catch up otherwise.

Yup Hyland, it's simultaneous.
