Oh btw, does any one know if you can use the 2000's en 90's cars etc in quick race mode? Because now i'm only able to use the official wrc car/s2000 and group N cars..

You can do this in Road to Glory, on each location you can start a rally and choose whatever car you unlocked so far

Apparently the game is finally coming to North/South America 👍 -> http://tinyurl.com/auqoc3u

Release date is March 26th for both the PS3 and Vita versions. The PS3 version will be available in retail and on the Playstation store, however the vita version is download only.

I already have an imported copy of the PS3 version of the game. I may download the vita version if it's priced well.

Good to hear. That Hard drive expansion for my PS3 can't come sooner 👍

Good news, have fun all and the below could be you in a few days time.

I know as photos they aren't brilliant compared to other games, but I still think the photo options for this game have a great fun appeal and give a good impression of what it's all about :)

Ok Hope this doesn't go to far off topic but as we have all seen IGN gave this game a 5/10 score.

Now recently on the UK PS store a game called Jeremy McGrath's Offroad appeared. Its a cheap game costing just under £8.50 and its kinda rally style in the sense it has point to point races and co driver. Now if had to rate this game against WRC 3 WRC 3 would wipe the floor with this. Better graphics, more cars, more tracks, better physics and way better co driver. but this game was rated 7.5 by IGN!!!

Only reason I can think is because of the arcade handling(only have to brake on hairpins) and the fact its only £8.50.

I won a review copy of this game months back and have been playing it for 2 weeks now.
I was surprised the first time I started the game that it didn't need to be updated. And after playing it for 2 weeks I think it could use a big update.
Game froze once, but at other times graphical glitches made it hard to play, like missing corner signs and even complete hud graphics appearing as white squares.
or at one point the cars in the garage didn't load any more until I restarted the game.

It's fun to play though when it works and difficulty level is just right (playing on hardest).
I'm playing with a pad. Wheel is still in it's box after a lan party and haven't bothered to unpack it again :p

This game is brilliant with a wheel, If you've enjoyed the game so far then do yourself a favour and get your wheel out.

Looking forward to getting a shot at this game. It comes out in the US next week (the first of the series to be released here). From the reviews by actual racing game sites, sounds like it is quite good.

Thanks for the heads up. Just checked ebgames Australia, coming out 18 Apr 2013. Better late than never. I think it's the first of any rally games that have been released so late for Australia.

Is there any way to get the PS3 demo in the US? I tried the PC demo, but would like to try the PS3 one and I can't find in the US or UK store.

To the best of my knowledge the demo is in the UK store. But perhaps someone from the UK can confirm that.

Making a case for one of the longest game titles of 2013 in North and South America (it came out last year in Europe), WRC 3 FIA World Rally Championship is coming out on March 26th for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.

We originally found this out by finding a listing on GameStop for the PS3 version, but after reaching out to Namco Bandai, they confirmed to us that it is indeed releasing on the 26th for both systems.

As for how you’ll be able to buy the game, it will be available at both retail and on the PlayStation Network on PS3, with the PS Vita only receiving a digital release. Stay tuned for our PlayStation Store Global Update on March 26th to see exact pricing on the digital versions.

Two more days for those of us in the US. Looking forward to it. (I also have Richard Burns Rally on the way. Not sure how I missed that one for 7 years).

Poor fellas in the US! Your patience will get rewarded!

Can you send us Nascar inside line to Europe now? :)

So the US is getting it via Bandai Namco games? Interesting deal there.

Thanks for the heads up guys. If I didn't come to GTP I wouldn't even know it was released in the states! Every Gamestop around me only had one copy. Yes I called all of them out of curiosity O_o. No other places besides Gamestop had it. I had to quickly race down to buy it.

OK, was figuring on picking up a PS3 copy today after reading through this thread. However the reviews have me a little spooked.

From you guys who play GT5, how do the physics compare? That's my absolute main concern. I'm a wheel user-DFGT/no aids. Thanks.

Better, in my opinion, or at least more suitable to a rally game... Believable in their own right. But even if they weren't as good, GT5 has nothing anywhere near as twisty or narrow as WRC 3 has.
