The game works very well with the controller. I don't know if it's better with a wheel, some past comments lead me to think that both have their advantages but you can certainly play it well with a DS3.

A racing game is SO MUTH BETTER and muth more fun with a god steering wheel, in my opinion its a must.
True, but the game can be played well with a controller (say for anyone who does not have the spare cash or circumstances to set a wheel rig up) which is what Marxlien was asking :)

I will play it again once I get my wheel, but it played very well with the DS3 I found.

Safari DLC out for X360 and PS3 store for £3.99 / 320mp. Seems to be similar if not same from WRC 2 though...

Looks to have different lighting than the WRC 2 version. As I did not get that DLC for 2 I can't be sure that it's a different stage, it does seem to be though - thanks for the heads up both.

This DLC dosent exist on PSN store?.... Can someone tell me whare to find this DLC, if it exists....

Thats not a DLC for Wrc 3! Someboddy has made that video, im getting so pist of at this idiots:mad:
The user who posted it is WRCtheGame and it looks like the official YouTube Channel for Milestone, as it has a lot of the promo vids for the game and also the title clip - could well be genuine.

Two stages eh? Nice. Here's hoping we get a date announced soon for this.

Tropical weather. Breathless sunset. Burned land. Adrenaline and the typical atmospheres of Salgarian Africa. Kajiado and Marigat, these are the names of the two special stages included into the DLC which will drive players through different terrains such as: savanna, forest and aboriginal villages. The difficulties of East African Safari Classic include several rocky and dirt surfaces where players have to show their handbrake abilities and an unseen control. The DLC will be available into WRC Experience for Singleplayer and Multiplayer both.

Developed and published by Milestone, World Rally Championship 3 is available for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation®3, Windows PC, PlayStation®Vita and PlayStation®Store.

Eventually, for those who want to buy the digital Windows PC version of the game, you have just to visit the official WRC site - WRC.com -- or to the official game site - Wrcthegame.com -- and follow the "Download it Now" banner. In few simple clicks you will be able to live the Authentic Rally Experience on your own PC.

It was posted by WRC on facebook and its on the WRC youtube account.

Yeah, they tend not to announce a specific date but just release it on PSN etc., when they are ready.

Nice one, I'd forgotten about their FaceBook page. One of the comments stated that the tracks are showing on the leaderboards. As the EU PS store generally updates after midday, I'll be looking for this tonight.

Finished the career mode last night, I took an apparently much longer break than I thought because I couldn't drive the Fabia for love nor money at first, luckily I only had two rally events and then three stars to finish off on special stages so it didn't take long... One of them was a Group B special stage on one of the Monte Carlo stages, that Renault 5! I think that might be the only car I've managed to spin without using the handbrake.

Update from EC Sim Hardware's FB page:

"We're proud of our work.

The scheduled development of the ADVANCED Plugin for the WRC 3 (PC) title it's done.

Right now, we're ready to start with the files & documentation preparation before the first (1.0) version release.

In another side, we're also really happy to announce that the WRC 3 (PC) title ADVANCED Physics Engine (V0.6) is almost ready and it will be released at the same time with the ADVANCED Plugin but in different uploads.

We're getting ready but we needs some more days / weeks to adjust and tweak the last parameters before release."

I think this is a hoax, and i think its week of milestone not to give us any information what so ever!

Milestone have never been brilliant at communicating. This time around they are actually better than with the previous games - plus there is the PS Store to consider; DLC needs to be tested and approved by them too and then scheduled - the delay could lie there. The Mini after all took a few weeks to materialise on PSN and that was a release day DLC...

Relax, it's not a hoax - just not there yet.

I should be getting my copy of WRC 3 today, needless to say I am super pumped to get going on this(PS3 version). Question for anyone that already has this title, how is the online play? Is the following big for this game? From what I have been reading this is one of the best rally titles to date. Just trying to get some feedback before I open her up. Also, my psn is bdubclub if anyone wants to add me so we can get our rally on. 👍 :gtpflag:
