Still 30fps for console I assume?

I really enjoy theses games. I still occasionally load up WRC5 just to compare how far they've come.

I think indeed that the game will be 30FPS. As long as it runs steady that is fine with me. Kylotonn uses their own engine and with the improvements made, I think 60 FPS isn't possible.

WRC2 class, DS3 ? Do you mean C3 ? Sorry for nit picking :)

Edit: Also need to add the VW Polo to WRC2 class.

Will check! Info comes straight from WRC website!

Édit DS3 and C3 are both in. Will digg some more on my pc. Phone is sheer impossible....

It would be cool if there was a DS3, I questioned it because I watched the Monte Carlo round last week & only saw the C3 R5 car, (along with the new Polo), however I'm quite happy to be wrong :)

Updated!

I checked on the website and there are indeed multiple R5 (also C3 and DS3) entries but I think they are mixed with privateer teams (devided RC2 and RC3 / RC2 WRC2 and RC2). The official ones exists of 5. Those have been added and corrected.

More info on Monte Carlo 2019 entries: https://www.ewrc-results.com/entries/52398-rallye-automobile-de-monte-carlo-2019/ and https://www.rallye-sport.fr/liste-des-engages-rallye-monte-carlo-2019/

That RGT would fit in nicely as well :D

Can’t wait for this one. :D

Will pick it up on PC and potentially Switch if the port is good.
I don't think I ever got around to asking you how V-Rally 4 fared as a Switch port...?

I'm not quite sure I have enough confidence in this game to give it a try without the novelty and convenience of having it on the Switch in its favor.

Will it have rallycross?

Let us hope the physics will be at least as good and realistic as DR 2.0

How does WRC7 perform on the OG PS4?
Does it go below 30fps alot?

It performs absolutely fine. There is one just one small stutter at the end of one stage in Monaco, that's about it. If your thinking about getting it, my opinion is go for it, its a great game with all the rounds and lots of stages, and, all 3 catagories of the WRC.

I’ve been meaning to get it for ages but I’m still unconvinced by the physics. Looks far too rigid (if that makes sense).

I’m hoping WRC8 will get it somewhat right.

The physics are fine. The feeling is certainly not 'rigid', the cars move about all over the place, especially the WRC class. Then there's the bumps to contend with, it's very engaging & quite challenging tbh.

Sounds like they’ve taken some clues from WRC Rally Evolved.

The gameplay looked great. Looks like I’ll be getting my rally fix this year afterall.

Looking forward seeing more of the game.

I watched through the Germany run. This game looks like the best yet. Really looking forward to it. Unbelievable the sheer number of locations and total amount of kilometers.

And dynamic weather will be awesome, and the careee mode sounds really deep. And the classic cars. Why not?

Did they mention a km figure?

I am thinking that by bringing back the lost stages from 6, re-using the ones from 7, plus a few new ones there could be 750+ km in the game.

And evidently Argentina and Germany are all new stages, as mentioned previously.

Best thing: stages from previous games won't be sold as DLC ;)

Would like to know more about damage and collisions with the environment. They didn't feel always quite right in WRC 7. Can't break headlights and I think the reset lines are little too close.

Looks awesome so far. I've never gotten a WRC game but will get this one. I'd like to know more about damage and the career mode so I'll stay tuned

I broke my headlights here at 5:58. Had to switch to hood cam to see. You are right regarding the low beams, those can't be broken.

I had to giggle as well when the presenter asked a couple of times how the tarmacphysics felt. That was definitely something they wanted to point out. No mention of total milage but it seems their 2 year break does the game well. I think I'll skip DR2 alltogether and go straight to WRC8. That's my current sentiment anyways.
