I see, thanks, disappointing for me, no new legend, bonus car models really. Was hoping for 10 or 15 new ones, oh well..

Same. Was hoping for McRae's Ford Focus for the perfect package.
At least we can download custom liveries from other players...

While we wait, I've been running some WRC9. I'm on controller and finding the steering a bit twitchy for my liking at high speed especially. Found a suggestion on reddit to increase deadzone to 15 which has helped (sensitivity still at -10 ).

Any other setting tips for controller?

Is the handling twitchy on WRC10 too?

No it was much better in 10, I even use the defaults! Whereas I found 9 unplayable out the box.
Just hoping they don't mess it up again in WRC G.

Thanks for the (force) feedback @AttackDickie and @MrCrynox .
I'll try to continue with 9 for now. I want to play it some while the daily challenges are still online.
I do have 10 as well but was planning to play that after 9. I like to be sequential (gearbox) ;)

EDiT I should mention I use chase cam. Never could get the hang of anything else and I find it hard enough to get a reasonable time as it is... 😂

Confirmation of the rallies in the game, 165 "unique" stages, also confirmation of no Poland or Australia with no plans to add any more rallies post launch.

"Hello drivers,

In WRC Generations you will play through 165 unique special stages set in 21 rallies, a compilation of most of the rallies which KT Racing has worked on since WRC 5. You can find the complete list at the bottom of this blog.

You will note that from the rallies we have released since WRC 5, two of them,
Rally Poland
(last appeared in WRC 7 but partially available as the Test Area) and
Rally Australia
(last appeared in WRC 8)
won't be present in WRC Generations
, we don't have plans to add them or additional rallies after the launch of the game on November 3.

Sad that Austrlia won't be present, and I dispute their claim of 165 unique stages. But it's a healthy list of rallies. If only we could use all of them in career mode.

They forgot China.

A bit disappointed. I was hoping for Poland and Australia.

Still a lot of content, especially for those who haven't bought a WRC game in recent years.

I echo the sentiments of no Poland or Australia, I'd happily swap out Belgium and Kenya for these two, gutted. Whatever happened to their promise of all the rallies ?

Edit: I don't want to come across as negative but I loved Poland and Australia.

Would be Croatia and Belgium for me.

I would prefer switch out kenya for sure than croatia, i dont have 10 so i didn't try it out but from videos, and from trying kenya in 9..

Worse rally by far for me kenya in wrc9, only one i never feel to try again lol.

For sure, it's just drab, brown and boring to me.

I wonder are we getting the sss stages of all these rally locations too?
Been having fun on sss in 9.
I like the choice of gravel tires on tarmac in these, cars slide drift around more.
The integrale especially, which usually feels on rails.

That's one thing they do get right with the gravel tires, but knowing KT that could just be a happy coincidence.

I finally gave up on WRC9 as the ultra sensitive handling (even at minus 10) meant I could never have confidence to drive at real speed as I never felt comfortable.

Joined an online club and have completed 3 stages so far on WRC10 including 20km in an Escort in Croatia. Handling is sooo much better on controller. I felt confident enough that I was much faster immediately (still needed minus 10 sensitivity in settings though). If anything I think the Escort handling is better in WRC10 than in Dirt Rally 2.0, from my brief experience.

I hope the handling in Star Trek Generations is similar to WRC10.

EDIT Preinstall is available 👍

KT has removed 120Hz framerate on consoles.

These people never cease to amaze me.

Yeah, how surprising hehe, lack of optimization oh..
Also says past stages like corsica are not up to standard.
What's worrying for me is it says the ffb in logitech is lacking consistency vs wrc10.
Hope a patch will fix this.

Also doesnt seem you can use all those extra rallies in singleplayer except single stage quick mode as usual..

Says sound of new current cars arent much good.
Oh well, what else is new...
They did sound better in preview videos.

Also they didnt test it on ps4 etc.

Really wish you could do singleplayer season with any rallies, cars..

Physics seem trickier, which would be good to me, but sounds like it's not just in a good way.

To be fair the entry understeer and exit oversteer physics sounds about right for the new rally 1 cars without a centre diff.

Pity the sounds still sub par.
Also hope logi wheel feedback is fixed, probably the most common wheel.

They just sound like some of the physics are fishy, i don't know.
Like no suspension feel on landing jumps etc. Maybe they just are caught off guard by more weight transfer feel, and easier loss of grip at the limit.

Seems could be good, just hope it feels good.
