I think the times will be saturday 1pm, majority agrees.

@si:
maybe red since my car is already blue?

@everyone participating:
maybe I should only allow "premium cars" to race so that all cars look good in the photos? besides, there are plenty of capable "premium cars" that suit the regs and aren't taken yet.

Majority agrees?? Did we have a vote?? i didnt see a vote pole:odd:

just look through the posts, most of the people wanted saturday, including this guy whose bringing his friends.

What guy?? If you mean me my posts keep requesting confirmation of date/time dosent matter will be there when i can.

This looks like a great series, and the time factor is good as I am on the east coast of Australia. Count me in, and I'll look through my cars and see if I can find one suitable.

Like i say dosent matter spoken with gik69 said he will struggle also but will do his best as we both will. Next time perhaps have your time and dates in place in the opening thread stops things getting confused this far down the line hopefully you will get enough interest to be able to have reserves.👍

Have you read the OP and are you aware of the car's weight penalty/tuning restrictions?

Yeap.

Did a Engine & Chassis rebuild 150K, 270 BHP + 50kg penalty on Racing Hards 1:11.31 on GVE

Racing Mediums.
Stock HP, no tuning.

test on Monza, thats this series's benchmark.

Before Engine & Chassis rebuild it was 257 needing a oil change. Already shelled out 150 so can't go back.

No tuning. Stock Race Car. Now 270 BHP + 50 kg penalty. According to the OP the limit is 305 BHP. Will add Racing Mediums and do a quick run of Monza.

Rules:
Race mods are illegal (Yeah, I'm looking at you guys in the integras...)
Minimum weight for road cars 260 HP and under: 1140 KG
Minimum weight for road cars 261 HP and over: 1170 KG
Minimum weight for BMW 320i Touring Car: 1190 KG
The cars must have 3 or 4 or 5 doors, no 2 doors sports cars because this is a authentic touring car experience.
Max power: 305 HP
Max PP: 500 PP
Please refrain from using power limiter to meet maximum power, frugal use of it is allowed.
Please refrain from using ballast to meet minimum weight, frugal use of it is allowed.
Racing Mediums only
FF or FR only
Set top speed: 270 KPH
The BMW 320i Touring Car is the ONLY touring car/race car allowed in this event, ALL others are banned.

From OP:
You can use these race cars if you want to, but they must stay bone stock, no upgrades allowed other than, oil change, engine overhaul and chassis maintenance:
BMW 320i Touring Car '03

somebodysb2:
leather blue/white

What shade of blue is Leather Blue? Light, dark, or somewhere in the middle?
Which manufacturer is it from?

Matt and I are thinking of blue/black, but just want to check what shade you are using to make sure we aren't too close.

I'm not sure how it compares to the rest of the field as to be honest, I have no idea what regs most peoples cars are abiding to at the minute lol....but either the Infiniti G35 or G37 (forgot which, sorry) are almost identical in pace (once tuned) to the Atenza me and Si are using. I'm not sure of the times the Volvo can produce but worth a try :).

Thanks for the heads up Matt but change again oh no please!! Im with you dont know if everyone will stick to the regs or if everone is clear all seems very confusing?? Will see how the first race goes but im not hopeful in the grandad mobil!!:indiff:

Do you know rough times for either GVE or Monza as they are where i've tested the Atenza and would be able to give you a comparative time for you to see the pace of the Volvo.....at least compared to us, god knows about the rest of the grid.

Hi guys.

Did some testing late last night on Monza and GVE in the 320i Touring Car.

UCD 5,500+ kms 257 BHP. Did the following as per OP:
You can use these race cars if you want to, but they must stay bone stock, no upgrades allowed other than, oil change, engine overhaul and chassis maintenance:
BMW 320i Touring Car '03

Cost $150,000+ Car now at 270 BHP.
Adjusted Tranny to 270 KPH
Added Ballast +50 KG - 1190 KG
Left tyres Racing Hards

GVE managed 1:11's - 12's
Monza managed 2:06's - 7's

With Racing Mediums should be a little more competitive.

Add me (ken4block3). I would like to chat with you on psn because I don't like messaging in this. Me and my friend would sign up. Same team. And I will be gone all summer though because I go to Portugal. Plz add Im clean no moves. And pretty good like senna but senna was also dirty sometimes like first seconds of race where he took himself and Ferrari (I think) out. Say from so that I know.

My Atenza is doing low 1.08s round GVE and high 2.01-2.02s i think on Monza so maybe see how fast the BMW can be without the ballast and racing mediums. :)

Had a quick thrash around Monza 2.02's might be able to shave a slither off of that but it does feel a bit of a carthorse gik69 times the same.:nervous:
Is B2 still claiming 1.48's!!!????!!!

Cheers for the times :)

Thought i was flogging and dead horse. Will try at 1140 kg and Racing Hards then Mediums and post up.

Me and gik69 started off in the 320i tc it is a little of the pace with these regs but is fantastic on its tyres so may come good later in the race, just depends weather you can hang in there early on since im not sure the length of each race as yet this is why we changed but still think the BMW is a decent piece of kit.💡

Thanks as well :) The 320i Touring Car is a fabulous bit of kit, but is hamstrung by IMO the unnecessary weight penalty :indiff:

I'm ok with the original 1170 KG race weight so + 30 KG penalty.

When i get the opportunity will test under a number of variables and post up results ;)

That was in offline, my online times (made a new USA account for this) is consistent 2.00 ~ 2.02 with my 120d.

The leather blue is the one from Mini Cooper S '07 in the new car dealership.
