rite now i'm using the Acura CL 3.2, wit 456hp, itz kinda gutless so i was just wondering wut u guys used for the FF races in Professional...

well im pretty sure this thread has been done but anyway i used the beetle cup car i think. most people use the integra type r or the celica type m

Beetle cup car, it's the only FF car that can push over 400Bhp.

A very heavily covered topic that a search would have picked up myriad answers for.

For an easy win, you've got two choices, Interga Type R (fully loaded) and the Xsara Rally car.

I used a heavily modded Toyota Celica.

Other than the Acura he's already using.

And the Acura Integra.
And the TRD Celica.
And the Toyota Celica.
And the Honda Integra.

alright, i'll tr those then, cuz i'm havin a little trouble wit my CL 3.2 S, (I know its not in this topic, but has anyone found wut car in the game has 7 gears?)

The Xsara is the fastest car to use, IMO.

I like the Toyota TRD Celica as a good second car for this race.

First off, there is no car in the game with seven gears.

Secondly, i used a 311hp Honda Integra Type R (with only a few other mods) and can win the Pro FF Championship 98% of the time. (having a really good battle with the Spoon Civic and Beetle/Lupo? race car while i'm at it.)

The same 311hp car can also win the Amatuer Type R Challenge but due to wrong tire choice i've not won it yet (best is about two wins out of five races). The NSX may get away from me on the straights (sometimes, not all the time...) but the Type R handles corners as good as, if not better than, an S2000.

Anywho.

Indeed - I ran a full NA tuned TRD Celica which won easily. I had a full turbo Integra Type R, but the understeer was a pain to deal with.

Your right, the Acura's can, never tried the others though.

Just ran this last night in the Honda Integra Type R (it has a better power-to-weight ratio than the Acura Integra, plus it's cheaper).

I modded it with:

Full Customize Suspension
Sports Brakes
Brake Balance Controller
Computer
Turbo 1
Racing Tranny
Racing Flywheel
Triple Plate Clutch
T2 Tires
Lightweight 2

Which turns out to be 263hp, and a 4.4 power-to-weight ratio (exactly the same as the Spoon Civic which you'll win) My front tires were a healthy yellow by the end, and the rear tires were still blue.

It was a good challenge against the Spoon Civic and the Beetle Cup car, except that the Civic pits on lap ten every damn time, what a waste. (The Beetle Cup car didn't pit) Until lap ten though, we were never more than about 3.xxx apart. Deep Forest was by far the hardest race. Just remember to go easy on the gas through the corners and don't be afraid to let the back end swing a little bit on the long off-camber left between the two tunnels, it's much easier to keep your speed up that way.

The Xsara isnt the fastst FF car...

if you want to win it i would at one time have promoted the use of the Fiat Turbo Coupe (which wins easily)....but recently i like using the Beetle cup Car or more likely the Toytota TRD Celica...

On most road courses, the Xsara is the FF capable of turning in the fastest lap times. There's a posse of Honda Integra/Spoon Civic/TRD Celica/Bug Cup hanging close by.

But a whole bunch of us won the Deep Forest race by a clear LAP in a fully tuned Mini Cooper (178hp).

You can't use the CTR in the FF cup, unless it's a hybrid, and if it is it's no use in this forum is it.

traitor!!! :p

the fiat will win easy with 250hp, semi race suspension and t2 tires. buying anythin else is just going overboard.

basically there are a heapof FF cars that can win. put t2 tires on and if you dont pit and can stay on the tail of whatever is in 2nd place you win. the spoon civic pits onthe last lap so just keep on goin..

Traitor indeed...?
:irked:

nah, the Fiat has been elevated to God status in GT3...its time to promote the use of some of the lesser FFs....the Fiat is destined for bigger and better competition....

If a 178hp Mini laps the field in Pro FF, a 294hp Pitz will absolutely cheese the AI.

I used an integra type R, moderately modded to give me a challenge

I found that it understeers sooooooooo much to the point it's annoying...

until I discovered, about 2 months ago, the benefits of not having either ASM or TCS on.....or if they're on, turn them to a much much lower level....

I surprise myself with how i finished the game with the default of ASM at 10 and TCS at 5.....o_O
