Guys I need help, I just tried to put in my Halo 2 disc and it says this game has an update and I say yes update now and it finishes the update then asks me again for the update... I'm pretty sure it will do this endlessly so what can I do? I tried once saying No and then for some reason when I tried to sign into XBL my account is no longer on the list... just Don't Sign In and Register New Account is available. I know this has to do with the update but I can't do anything about it if it keeps asking me to update when apparently I just downloaded it! HELP! :(

Shut off the 360, turn it back on, see if the account is there. If not, shut off again, detach and reattach the HDD, see if it's still there. If not, go into the last blade (the purple one), go into memory, and see if your profile is there and see if anything else is missing.

But then again, whenever you refuse an update it doesn't allow you to connect to XBL. You shouldn't have skipped the second update – if it keeps asking you to update after selecting "Yes" two or three times, then you have a problem, but don't assume it's doing to do it all the time after it does it a second time.
 
Yeah sorry overreacted, restarted accepted update then it started up Halo 2 and it works. Sorry, and thank you Duck. :)

I've been looking forward to the game for sometime and I'm hoping it'll be out before years end. Judging by the vid it still needs a little work. I hope the UE3 is working well (just don't ask Silicon Knights their opinion :scared: ) :)
 
Here's an odd thing. I have a friend who has a 360 and Gold Live membership. He got a pre-pey card last April for 12 months. It's now late July and he hasn't had to renew it. Which is odd. He still has full Gold membership but hasn't paid for anything since last April.
Basically for the last 3 months he's had free Xbox Live Gold status.
I wonder if anyone else has had this happen?:confused:
 
Are you sure it's still Gold? XBL Silver is the exact same thing as Gold, except for the fact that you can't play anyone online, or access any online features of games (Forza 2 auction house for example). Alternativly, they could have just started billing the XBL fee of $4.99 per month from the credit card account that he had to enter creating his account.

Nope, no billing (as far as I know) and definately can play online. I'll have to see him again and check for sure.
IF they are billing his CC (I assume he used one to open an account - is that required for Xbox Live Gold? I thought you just needed a pre-pay card and bang, you were off) they have'nt told him.
 
Ive got a free month aswell. I used a prezzycard and it only has $0.42 NZ on it so they can't be charging it...
 
I was going to rent last night, The first one was one of the best game's i have played(at the time), But i ended up walking out with splintercell double agent for a week(transformers was only overnight)
 
Oh man... bad move. I could've told you not to get Splinter Cell. lol

For all of you that think I'm hating. I HAVE all three Splinter Cells for the PC and hated them all. I bought Splinter Cell for the 360 and couldn't stand it.

I really like "stealth" games like this but christ, throw me a bone in what to do or where to go. Geez...
 
yea lol, I'm stuck hardcore in the hotel mission....How am i supposed to get to that goddam safe once i get in there....


Think i'll stick to metal gear solid onmy good'ol Ps2 for the time being:D
 
Well... I tried MSG3 and I hated the friggin view. You could do third person or first but you had to hold a button down (I think) and you couldn't leave it in first person to walk around. It just seemed very odd. Especially after having the pleasure of playing games like GoW and RSV which are very natural (at least for me). I doubt I'll play MSG4.
 
Substinence(sp) has improved camera veiws;)

Im REALLY looking forward to MGS:4. I Love mind game's i stealth games lol. Even in double agent, Taking out all the lights etc. Love watching the reactions. And the Sticky Camera's with the clicking sound, to get them close, the gas to knock one out and get the other's close, then the Bomb to take out 5 people with a peice of Amo:D The best part of that hottel mission(on the roof);)
 
Basically, if they had more "Stealthy" stuff added for RSV I'd be all good. Hell even the GRAW series would do for me too. Either way the only shooter I'm looking forward to is COD4. I want that **** NOW! :drool: :banghead:
 
Haha, Resident Evil 5 coming to 360 was supposed to be the big announcement for E3. :lol:

I'm starting to feel sorry for them with all this past week. Just one screw-up after another.
 
lol hahaha. That would'vr been the funniest interview to watch.

COD4 Look's absolutely awsome, i must say. Looking forward to something other then WW2 lol.

Anyway The Juiced 2(hot import nights) Demo is up and you can supposedly tune your car's and do a few event's(that's what i got from the description anyway. It's 1.3 gig so im going to start downloadeding it now....It should be finished in about 22hrs:(

Forza 2(just under 700mb) took me 8-11hrs in the end(can't remember which one?)

Anyway, has anyone played Tenchu Z? I've got the Demo(still haven't beaten that boss guy...) And it's seem's REALLY fun? I'm going to hire it out next week. Has anyone got the Juiced 2 Demo Yet?
 
Sorry for the double post but is the market place down for anyone else? I just starting downloading Juiced 2 and was heading of to bed, so decided to see if it had hit 1% yet but it say's the marketplace is temperarely unavailable, please check later:(
 
Could've saved you the trouble of bothering to d/l the juiced demo. It's worthless pointless as usual. :lol:

What DVD? Is there a special edition? I don remember seeing a DVD, but i love the cd. the live version of walk with me owns the album version. I really like lamb of god... his voice is unreal...

yea there is a CD+DVD bonus pack in a cardboard sleeve.

The DVD is HUGE(content wise;))!!!
