Well i got the Juiced 2 demo(and the ace combat 6 demo) Ans i must say it is bloody brilliant!!!

You start of with the introduction race in the pack of car's. You go around, check out there car's and place a bet. Now the race start's and you are in a blue S15. The game even has incar veiw!!! And the sounds are to die for aswell!!. Anyway once you win this race you have $202,500(if you won the bet) and can now buy oe of 3 car's.

Car#1 = Camaro
car#2 = RX7(This thing sound's wicked and drifts like nothing else)
Car#3=...S7...Twin Turbo:D and it only costs 75k.

Now you can tune your car with various part's(There is an unbeilevable amount of body kit's and wheel's etc, Even Widebody kit's!!!). With the Rx7 you can give it everything from new wheel's to a Carbon Boot, New Steering wheel, Seat's, and even a carbon Fibre Roof!!!.

After youve bought a couple of car's you can go and do some more races.

I Did a solo drift competition in my Rx7 and a Supercar 3 lap curcuit challenge in my S7. In the S7 race i versed other s7's and ccx's:D

Anyway, I Am definetly buying this game on release;)

Its not exactly a sim. Ridge Racer 7 is a good example. I guess I can try to down load the demo. Hoping for DFP support and a passable frame rate on PS3(Colin McRae Dirt-check and check!)

I guess good physics aren't too high on your list? :dopey:

The physic's arn't actually to bad, And i quite like them in the drift mode...

Anyway, I rate physic's very highly(hence why i like GTR so much) But it is nice for a change sometimes....Just look at my two favourite band's. I Dunno i sort of 'need' balance;)

Ugh, I thought the Juiced 2 demo sucked. I'm not sure whether it was the wonky physics, or the ugly graphics, or my distaste for ricer games after the whorification of said genre, but it didn't float my boat.

Skipped that demo - the name was enough to keep me from it.

Honestly, the demo that continues to get the most playing time (and actually has stayed on my hard drive) is Tony Hawk's Project 8. I'd want to go buy it, but the new Skate game is coming out soon and that might be better.

Ha serious!!! I thought it was just me:D

Dunno why but i alway's end up playing that or bankshot billiards 2 listning to some music whenever my 360 get's turned on(switched on;))

I just wish you couldn't get so much air lol. I alway's end up trying to get all the gaps though, there's still 2-3 i can't find...

Anyway, like you im waiting for skate. It will be the first non racing game i have ever bought on release day!!! It look's absolutely gorgous aswell.

I've had another look at my mates Xbox live membership oddity. It's definately Gold, it says Xbox Live Pre-paid 12 month Gold Membership Card, membership since 07/2007 (when he actually got it in April last year:crazy: ), end date 07/2007  , renewal - not set, renewal cost n/a and Payment: not applicable. Makes no sense :odd: . He's got free Gold Xbox Live membership. Lucky sod...

I have a bit of a problem I can't seem to sort out.

The component cable has an optical cable which plugs into my amplifier for the surround sound. The headphone socket in it is bust, so I need the sound to come through the TV instead so I can use them. I plug the optical cable into the back of that thinking it would work, but it doesn't. I've tried changing the (limited) sound settings on the 360 dashboard, and nothing on the TV's own settings appears to do anything.

I'm baffled. What's going on?

On my TV I have the RGB cords plugged in, and then the two audio cords plugged in directly below. Usually when I want to listen through the stereo, I use the audio-out setup on my TV to pipe it to the crappy system I have.

Silly question, I know, but are you certain the optical on your tv is an input, not an output? It probably is an input though, thinking about it. Anyway, like YSSMAN says the red and white cables of the component lead should fit into the audio input of your TV. You'll still get sound through your TV even with optical going out into your amp.

Hey, the red and white leads worked. Thanks!

+ rep to both of you.

Just a heads up for anyone considering an X360 Elite. I was at Costco this weekend and they had a nice bundle package:
  • X360 Elite (which comes with HDMI & Component Cable)
  • Extra Controller
  • Play & Charge Kit
  • 1 Year of XBL
All for $570.

They also were taking pre-orders for the Legendary Edition of Halo 3 for $118.

I'm sure most of your got a dashboard update yesterday sometime. The only change that I've read up on is it's adding support for the wireless guitars coming out later this year.

They should at least wait until they can make major updates all at once instead of minor little things, considering the amount of people's consoles that screw up when it updates.

X-play (I don't know if it was a rerun) was hinting at maybe the 360 getting a web browser? Is this true?

Oh man! Guys check out these idiots!

There's a buy it now on ebay once in a while for this item at $39.99... You can get it in stores for $39.99 too.

I almost want to message those guys to tell them how much of an idiot they are.

These guys are idiots too but not as much as the other ones...

Stupid question alert!

If one were to get a use 360 is it still covered under the warranty? (My friend might get one)

No.

Another important thing to keep in mind is that Microsoft's warranty only apply to the original purchaser. So if you bought it used or online from an unauthorized dealer, then you'll also be responsible for all repairs and replacements.

For more info on Microsoft's X360 warranty click HERE.

Thanks, I knew someone posted info on this or I remember seeing that bit of text but I couldn't find it. 👍

Well... MS cancelled their Leipzig conference. No game announcements today, nothing. 👎

When the heck are they going to show off some of their '08 titles? TGS? Surprise buttsex announcement?

If true story, glad to hear he was OK.

Unfortunately, he voided Microsoft's limited warranty policy... but it would make for good PR if Microsoft sends him a brand new fully-loaded Elite and a pile of games. 👍

EDIT: Was writing this when Daan posted his reponse... copied my reply to that thread.

Thanks. Now folk will think I've went mad. :dopey: Well, madder than usual anyway...
Your cope daan, because you seem like the kind of person who can sort this mess out, on the other hand how bad could it get for you.

I searched for MOH: Airborne and found nothing... I don't know if that's me or what but I thought there would've been a thread on it.

Anyway, tired the demo and it was interesting. Flashy as EA always is. But the controls didn't seem to intuitive or natural imo. I was bored with it right away because frankly, the WWII stuff is so last millennium. :dopey:
