Here's an example of using a photo location track to race on.

Unfortunately, that's all there is when it comes to hidden tracks in GT4.

Not surprising really. Unlike GT2 & GT5 Polyphony actually took the time to finish Gran Turismo 4 properly, meaning less unfinished content. Still I imagine there has got to be some interesting stuff in there somewhere. I shall be keeping a close eye on this thread! :)

Why is the track map in green?
Very nice finding, i must look in GT3 thread to see what you discovered there.

And "Nothing" indicates, that in these numbers are something else, like for example menu screen?

I'm not certain why it's a green map. I assume it's a glitched map, Or a "Default" map.

Tracks with "Nothing" labeled, simply won't get past the loading screen as nothing loads at all. There's a LOT of these :ouch:

Wow, thats awesome. One thing I noticed is how there is a different replay logo when the replay was getting played. Interesting.

So just what is it that you're doing here? All I see is a list of track names with numbers (in hex, yet). Where does this come from, how did you find it, just what is it and how is this information useful to others? I read the thread in GT3 forum and I still have no clue what it is you're doing here. Is this something that requires a gameshark/armax or something? Seems like it could be interesting though.

Hey Xenn, can we get videos of all the other locations?

I'll see what I can do.

What i'm doing is, i'm posting info and other things that are not used in the GT games. For example, in my GT3 topic, I posted a picture of the hidden Diablo in the PAL version, but it uses a Cuore Avanzato as it's body. It's things like that i'm searching for.

I posted that track list so people can see what's in the game, from normal tracks to ones that aren't used in normal gameplay. I made that list by looking into the game and seeing what values the tracks have. I guess it could be helpful if someone wanted to make a code for what track is being loaded, that list could be a good reference.

You'd definitely need a gameshark or an action replay max for stuff like that.

Yeah, maybe its nothing there, only support folders.

I wonder what is on the GT5 disc

I won't be attempting GT5, due to how the files are being stored. It would be a big hassle to get them.

at ~0:39 the building has a gap, do you see this in photo travel? (I'll check)

And, If all tracks and photo locations are listed as the same, can you do a photo mode in a track?

And I hear theres a Hyundai race car called Click, but only in Korean version. I've even seen photos (on IGCD)http://www.igcd.net/vehicle.php?id=45125&width=1600 Is this in other versions?

BTW, that website's amazing! every car from just about any game even flash games, including the scenery cars and betas and demos!

I have high doubts the Click Race Car is in the PAL version. It seems to have little to no missing content so far, but I could be wrong.

I wonder if its possible to add the Click Race Car to the PAL/NTSC versions that din't have it. We have the tools but will it work, that is the question.

It wouldn't be as easy as adding tracks, like it was possible to do using Tourist Trophy

I'd have to see how the cars are handled.

I would expect it to be fairly modular like the tracks, if not more so seeing as the car is coming from the same game (albeit a different region) and surely there'll be space for it in the registry right? Unless the PAL/NTSC versions got a different car in its place that the Korean version didn't.

You can import tracks to GT4!? (with correct equipment of course) Could you imports tracks from gt3, or even 1&2? or maybe 5. cars too?

One thing that comes to mind is that older model Mini Cooper, i heard it was in the japanese version, but i wonder if it exists in the NTSC version?

Ah ha! Found it.

my research may seem useless, but its the best i can do.

why did that first one post?

I had a look inside GT4 again and I noticed this manufacturer along with the other ones...

Vemac cars were going to be in GT4? I couldn't find any cars related to Vemac, so I don't know what was going to be considered.
