There's music in GT 6? :-) First thing I do is put all music selections to zero. GT soundtrack for me involves revving engines, whining gears and squealing tires. That said might have to turn it on to check this one out.

This was done once last year in Gt5 where we all received some bogus letter from PD Christmas Day. However, I still enjoy it as it's something which will never go away...

Ever
My wife and I thought the Christmas Card/Letter was a nice touch last year from PD. She had a new found respect for video games, especially ones as organic as GT5 and now GT6. That's her Mercedes on my Avatar. Still feeling the Jazzy Christmas tunes though.

I can't of any other game series that has done this kind of deal for the holiday season. I rather enjoy the holiday music. It makes me feel like they are more connected with the holidays, as opposed to "This is just the big money influx season". You know what I mean?

Dude I understand, I am also having a problem with it this year. It starts earlier every year, but this years it's really getting to me. It first started a week before..... Halloween.... yes Halloween! I went into a McDonalds and there it was, I was like 🤬 and I knew it was gonna be all downhill from there.

Just turned on GT6, and the home screen opened up with an ubber cheesy Kenny G style rendition of Jingle Bells  This 🤬 is everywhere...on the radio, in the mall, on TV, and now in GT6 - my escape

I appreciate the effort on PD's part, but no...please, no more Christmas music!
hey at least you dont have to work at a supermarket with that crap blaring through the roof speakers... LIKE I DO

Oh look, another person bitching about something in GT6...

I like the version of silent night.

Will you be dealing with "refunds" in a few days?

Where's your holiday spirit huh?

I was quite surprised to find out GT5 was playing this since yesterday :p (Yes I still play GT5 but that's irrelevant).

I have always liked the Christmas music in GT. It's also present on my Sky box when you go to the EPG. I think it's a nice touch. I love Christmas!

Hey, this is what makes GT and PD special! Doing things that Forza no other game producer would do!

I like it when games give little nods to certain seasonal holidays, they're neat little touches. I remember getting The Simpsons Road Rage on GameCube one Christmas and there being Apu dressed as Santa which was only available when you played on Christmas Day. DiRT 2 had a Christmas tree bobble mascot thing you could put on your car's dashboards throughout December too.

Slightly off-topic, but it's rather nice that they add things like that in, even in this day and age where most game devs just seem to rip off the consumer and then leave it at that.

It's a wonderful little PD touch. How unchristmassy do you have to be in order to dislike this?

IF your not listening to music in GT games your missing out on a big part of the game. I cant imagine Gran Turismo 1 for example without the music experience. It makes a huge and crucial chunk of my memory and nostalgia of the game.

I like the Christmas music, it's nice and smooth, with great renderings, and not some cheesy rendition of the song done in the 1970s like you hear on the radios.

I'm looking forward to what goodies we could get tomorrow. It might only be a Christmas greeting, but who knows?
