You know you have ALREADY played GT5 too much when...

When you go out to buy a used car that has over 300,000 miles on the car, you buy it for like 8,000. Your friend shows up to your house and you tell him what it is and the price... And he says "why did you spend that much money on a car with that many miles on it".... You reply back, "no big deal bro i thought about the miles on it but hey i still have those car refresh tickets"... Then it hits you.

When you're walking behind someone and automatically expect you'll walk a little faster because of their slipstream... I play way too much GT5

When you win an event and expect to get a car after

When you believe that you don't need a crawler to slide under a car. :sly:

Speaking of the crawler, didn't the mechanic have a yellow one in the game? I swear I remember one. Could just be me and GT5 turning my brain to mush.

when you see a car in real life and think (That car is so annoying to drive, it has too much understeer) even though you've never driven that car in real life

...when you stop some cool car on the road irl, take your camera out and start walking around it finding the best angle.

When you change gear aggressively in an automatic car
When you make car noises when you are walking
When you flip your car over expecting to reappear magically
When you say I blew a gasket or I'm leaking oil when.....well......you get the point
When you start painting your car hood to look like carbon fiber
When you use the curb as an apex
When you get pulled over by the police and say that the Prius was taunting me!

When you think driving your 1998 Jeep Cherokee with both hands on the wheel and performing the GT5-style G forces inside your car is perfectly normal. :dopey:

Now I'm curious. I wonder how PD calculates it? Hmmmm.....

I found a way to estimate a cars PP. It's weight / bhp x 100 - 10 (plus or minus 70 pp)

I got some more by the way:

... When your other driving games are made up out of dust.

... When you wished the Original circuits were real.

... When you race Kaz in a 1-on-1 race in GT5 and beat him easily.

... When you get caught driving in real life without a license and say "But I do have a license, IB license from the GT5 Licensing Centre!" *the cop facepalms*

This just happened to me tonight. Was driving home from work at 10:30 and unconsciously I was switching lanes trying to hit the apex of every turn on the freeway hahaha

Don't try this at home, kids :sly:👍 .

... When you build yourself a custom playseat dedicated to GT5 :

When you have beaten the GT-R lap time in the Skyline GT-R
When you can tell what level drivers people are
When you complete the 24hr events without pausing
When you fill up your tank faster that a pro racer
When you are pulled over and the police man asks can I see your license and you give him your GT5 S license
When you are posting on this thread

When your HDD malfunctions and you have to apologise to a long train of people that you arranged to give cars to in the GT5 Marketplace :(.

... you log in every day as soon as you get home from work "just to maintain your 200% bonus" and you're still racing/tuning/photographing when it's time to turn in.

... you find yourself discussing how your "partner doesn't understand you" with your best Bob.

... you sit on the loo at work surfing your favourite GT5 forum whilst everyone else is on Facebook or Twitter.

... you start conversations with what friends you have left with statements like "One time, on Gran Turismo..."

... you look forward to the adverts so you can restart that B spec grinder.

... you realise that although you're trying to be funny, all the above scenarios have actually happened.

...When you start "sleep-driving" sub-consciously without even realising, and wonder why your PS3 was left on the following morning.

...When you meet a famous racing driver and ask him to sign your copy of GT5.

...When you go to see a real life race and start shouting B-spec commands at drivers passing by.

...When it takes 5 or more people to drag you away from GT5.

...When you go to a paint shop and ask them to paint your car "Gold Chrome" or "Silver Chrome".

(Sorry for the really lame jokes, all the really good ones are going fast! :nervous: )
