Vision E was unveiled at the 2017 Auto Shanghai and is scheduled to be produced from the second half of 2020. It will be assembled at Škoda plants in the Czech Republic for the European market. It is to be available in two body styles. The Vision iV is a next development stage of the car and the last step prior to series production, revealed in March 2019. It is the first Škoda car to utilize the Volkswagen Group MEB platform.

Vision E has a four-wheel drive powered by two electric motors with a combined output of 225kW (306bhp), level 3 autonomy capability and 500 kilometres (310 mi) range.

I see heavy BMW X6 vibes from the front.

BMW M3 CRT (Carbon Racing Technology)

Put simply, a 4-door version of the E92 M3 GTS with the same 444bhp, n/a 4.4L V8 engine.

The bonnet and front seats were made of the same cellular carbon honeycomb material as used in BMW's i3 and i8 electric cars. The result was a total weight of 1,580kg, 45kg less than the standard E90 M3. It also came with adjustable coil-over suspension, titanium mufflers on the exhaust, less sound deadening and uprated brakes.

Released in 2011, only 67 were made, all painted in Frozen Polar matt silver with Melbourne red accents, costing at the time £105,000.

1999-2002 Strathcarron SC-5A

The SC-5A, a bare-bones lightweight sports car produced by Sussex, UK based company Strathcarron, was referred to as a "four-wheeled motorycle", in that it was powered by a 1.2L four-cylinder Triumph motorcycle engine which cranked out 125hp. This car also weighed a mere 550kg, could rocket from 0-60 in 5.6 seconds, and was eight inches shorter than the Lotus Elise. 60 were made, two of which were imported to the USA.

Always liked the way they looked (probably among the best-looking small-volume sports cars the UK has churned out, I'd go as far as saying) and the ethos behind them, but they weren't, by most accounts, very good.

It's lived on, albeit in slightly altered form over the year, as first the 5EXi (seriously) and more recently as the Marlin 5EXi (still seriously).

Now, the Miata is a very popular vehicle as of late

But have you ever wanted
An Off-Road Miata?

Because I meant to say
Off-Road Miata

[At this point is where sitcom music would start]

Alternatively known by its actual name of Gibbs Aquada

The Saab Sonett III and its predecessors were quite lookers...

Sonett_1_DSC_0155-1-940x705.jpg

The 1970 redesign of the Sonett V4, named the Sonett III, was initially undertaken by Sergio Coggiola, but Gunnar A. Sjögren altered it to fit the existing chassis without expensive manufacturing-line changes. Hinged rear-window glass replaced the Sonett II/V4 rear compartment hatch door. With the mandate for a "bulge-less" hood, the engine compartment opening evolved into a small front popup panel, resulting in more limited access than in the Sonett V4. Extensive engine work required the removal of the entire front hood section.

While the 1970 and 1971 model years initially had the same 1500 cc Ford Taunus V4 engine as the Sonett V4, emission control requirements reduced the available horsepower. The model years 1971 to 1974 of the Sonett III used the 1700 cc Ford V4, but to meet increasingly strict federal regulations, net power output remained the same as the 1500 cc engine, at 65 horsepower (48 kW). Still, the Sonett III accelerated from 0–100 km/h (0–62 mph) in 13 seconds, and—due to a higher differential gear ratio (42 teeth on the ring gear and 9 teeth on the pinion gear) than the standard 95/96 transmission (39:8)—achieved a top speed of 165 km/h (103 mph), aided by a drag coefficient of 0.31 cd.

Disappointing sales, especially during the 1973 oil crisis, led Saab to end production in 1974. A total of 8,368 Sonett IIIs were manufactured between 1970 and 1974.

Those are "cars" that you can drive without a full license here. They have a maximum speed of 45 km/h, and they are ****ing expensive. Especially the newer models.

They are mostly driven by the handicapped. And sometimes a youngster with deep pockets.
We usually call them invalidekar or brommobiel (disabledcar or mopedmobile) Ish.

1993 Intercoast GTP

This mid-engined, low-and-wide four-door supercar is surprisingly based off the Ford Taurus SHO out of all cars. In the interior, the driver seat was in the center with two seats behind it, therefore it sat three. Power figures and performance stats are unknown.

And this one's not a car I've never heard of, but nonetheless still belongs in this thread. I never knew that the Renault 4 came available with 4WD as an option. 4WD was offered on the 4 starting 1975.
