I think British cars have a very unique presence, and I love them!
My favorites are:
-Jaguar XKR.
Probably one of the sexiest cars in the whole game. With the chase cam, the exhaust note is one of the best.
-Caterham Fireblade.
The idea of a Lotus Seven with a racing mortorcylce engine on it is pure win.
-Aston Martin DB9.
One of the few pure sportscars in the game. Nothing like a front mounted naturally aspirated V12, rear wheel drive and a fully manual transmission.
-Lotus Esprit.
My favorite. Still keeping its basic proportions since the 80´s, but one of the most beautiful cars ever made. So beautiful that I didn´t even changed the wheels on it. And that flat-plane V8 on cockpit view is a pleasure to listen to. This car has the loudest turbo whistle I´ve heard so far in GT5.
-TVR Tuscan.
Another pure car. Its uglyness is its beauty. Wierd car, but so adictive. If you are going to enjoy it like a true TVR, remember to turn the ABS off. That car is pure rebelion, I mean, look at the instrument panel! A huge analog speedometer with a digital tachometer? Shouldn´t it be the other way around?
So which are your favorites, and why? Feel free to share your thoughts. No limits on how many British cars from the Gran Turismo series you like
