Like many others here (what are you doing in this thread lol?) I'm a Brit car nut. Being a Bondophile makes me of course adore that damn Esprit, I can't help it. Childhood programming, I guess, than real automotive judiciousness. I have all the Brit cars - two of each (except for the Bentley Speed 8 - just one). I have three of the E-Type Jag, but that's just greed.
Hard to play favourites - the Bentley is my all-round must-have car (got badly hooked on it in GT4), but I do love both Cerberas, the Caterham, every Elise, Esprit, and Evora, the Elan, the Europa, the Carlton, all the Jags, all the Astons, the Range Stormer, the Spitfire, the Interceptor, the Marcos, and even the G4. I had six Griffiths in GT4, though only 2 in GT5.
One other car I have only one of is of course the Lister Storm - awesome enough to get two or more of - but somewhat elusive in the UCD - much like the Bentley.
Now - to the Vauxhalls - GT5 classifies both Astra and Calibra Super Touring Cars as Brits. I have to say that both these cars are monsters! I really like them, too - especially thrashing around the DTM courses with them.
Well there we go. You can pass me the clotted cream now, thanks.
