If you could create your own Grand Theft Auto, what would your cars, setting, characters, and other additional content be?

Dude, what did you say that for? Sure his other threads have been closed but at least this one isnt a repost or a pointless topic. It might not lift off but it still has no reason to be closed or deleted.

To answer the question though, I just want San Andreas on the PS3 or X360 with better graphics and physics etc, everything thats in GTA4 but with everything thats in San Andreas as well.

In an ideal world, I think we'd all want licensed cars in the mix. I'd also like a variety of environments similar to San Andreas, countryside, mountains, desert, anything to remove the same old of the city.

Additional Content? On how far does the rating go up to? Though somehow you should make a thread stating your ideal game. Game in general, because other games would lose their point if people start putting things into it. But search first....
Anyways, coop and real cars 👍

I really want manual as well. It annoys me when he lets the gear go right up into red and keeps it there before finally changing gears.

Manual, and car customisation offline. They had car customisation in SA, why not here? However atleast they did put it some tuned versions of various cars, which is nice.

I want San Andreas with the new engine and graphics (Obviously, tweaked, so we don't have to have supercars that float and understeer into corners.) I'd like manual cars, the ability to turn off aids, (hey, if they did tuning again, they could have that as an aftermarket mod) bigger areas, with snow on ground and mountain passes, passing seasons, and a huge expanse of desert for me to live out my desert storm fantasies.

Annoying, but you can force a shift by releasing the throttle quickly then getting back on it.

Another one: more building interiors. I don't care if the houses are all the same, just make around 50 or so houses, and repeat them. Then make more unique places and ofcourse shops too. I'd love to be able to go into just about any building, regardless of whether or not it's repetitive.

Good question 👍

Cars: As the others have said, car interiors would be nice, though I'm not as bothered about manual transmissions. There are enough buttons to use in GTA already without needing two set aside for up- and down-shifting! Real cars would be nice but I doubt we'll ever see that - it's one thing a manufacturer allowing Polyphony to show damage on their cars in GT, it's quite another for a manufacturer to allow Rockstar to show how easy it is to break into and hotwire one of their cars! I'd be happy with cars that look similar to current cars, with a nice mix of classic and modern. Ah, but from where? This is where...

Setting: ...comes in. I assume you mean the location the game is set? I've always thought that Rockstar could get a lot of meat out of a game set in Asia - Japan, Hong Kong etc would be good locations, and I'd quite like to see them tackle a Chicago-like city like we got in Driver 2, but in the end I'd settle on one based in the UK. They've already done London, so maybe a move up North would be a good plan - perhaps between the North East and Scotland? If the game was in distinct zones like San Andreas was, I could see them using Newcastle, the Northumberland/Cumbria areas and then up to Edinburgh in Scotland as the zones in which the game story is played. These places are characteristic enough to be interesting in the game.

Characters: Rockstar could go pretty wild in the above setting! Scots and Geordies? Brilliant. Perhaps a 70s gangster theme would be fun.

Additional content: Not sure about this one, since I'm pretty much starting from scratch!

I would honestly take manual over interior. It is so annoying when your racing or just driving around and he lets the gear rev for about 2 seconds, if we had manual drag races would be more fun aswell.

I would add a character from like freaking star wars or something lol. And for the cars(motorcycles) I would add Ducatis. That would be great!

My GTA would have all these people's ideas.

In my GTA, I would add damage to buildings. The more the damage, the closer to the collapse. And realisticer damage to vehicles and objects.

We gathered that dude, you gotta stop bumping your own threads with posts like this.

What do you mean?

Well no one has replied to your thread and you have double posted (again), double posting is occasionaly accepted but you have basically already told us that you want San Andreas with the post at the top of the page because "all these people's ideas" are basically a visually and gameplayally (thats not a word) enhanced San Andreas.

Maybe you should slow down a little? I have never seen someone get 200 posts in the first 3 weeks of membership anywhere. I'm just saying before a Mod bans you that it is Quality not Quantity.

It is the truth, I learned that too late. I'm one infraction away from a ban, and I quite like this account. I'd say that out of my 2,000+ posts, 1,000 would meet my expectations now.

Here's another thing I'd like to add to the list: easier mod-ability. No matter what you do to a game, people will mod it, adding new textures, cars, whatever. Why not make it easier for people to do that?

Orr I dunno - I think I reached 12-13 posts per day when I first joined. Seem to remember that my post count absolutely rocketed - and I read the AUP so all of themz postz were teh punctualz :sly: (to a degree - but I tried).

As for more ideas. I'd like far (like far) off islands so that you can fly for like 10 minutes before seeing it on the horizon. This would get boring so you would have the option of simply teleporting - but sometimes the long, scenic route is better. These would have completly different feels(?). So one is tropical, metropolitian, CBD etc.
I'd also like the greenery to be more lush. I'm thinking more like TDU (but not the rubbish PS2/PSP version).

I would have Wayne Brady in the game, so when he goes to pick up money from prostitutes and one of them gives him a bad dollar, he'll say... "Is Wayne Brady gonna have to choke a b!%ch?!":lol::lol: That would be funny as hell.

How do you know all these random people and what they do especially when they do that sort of thing. I havent heard of half the people you mention on this forum.

These people are famous actors and comedians. You're in Australia and might not know much of these people probably.
Look up "The Dave Chappel show with Wayne Brady".

I definently want customisation, nothing over the top. some ideas: Bass boost, can hear radio when from a distance from the car (kinda pointless i know, but easy enough to make). Rims. Some body parts. NOSSSS!. Locker diff for sure, Maybe as unlockable when you complete the story mode or something? GTA4 open diff got to me after a while, but it still is an awesome game for burnouts. Paint, (metallic, candy, pearlescent and so on...). Being able to take that goddamn throttle cutoff thing off where you cant drift out the corners (again, could be a special unlockable, maybe for finding all the jumps or something, GTA4 never gave much reward for things like that which took a lot of effort). Ummm... Exhausts, could actually add power ( would be a first for gta), more power adders and some other basic performance parts, handling, e.tc. Lift kits for 4x4s, ohh yeaahh. bumper bars for increased violence an gore when testing pedestrians knowledge of rule 1 (zombieland ref btw). Brighter headlights, neons.
I also want the insane stunt stats back like in gta3 era games, i find myself doing way less wheelies, two wheel dirving without it and i barely ever do stoppies (also i wish the game could let you rotate the bike while doing a stoppie so you can do the tomb raider thing, you know what i'm talking about.. You can't do it in gta4, i tried...), i reckon having the stats back would add a lot more hours into the game cuz i know i just cruise around doing stuff like that a lot of the time. Dismemberment (shotgun someone point blank and watch there intestines spill out onto the sidewalk:sly:) and manual. Some elephants that randomly look at you through your apartment window and wink at you creepily. An otter that made you cereal after you save your game and maybe the protagonist could eat a biscuit everytime you kill someone and the bad karma of killing innocents made you fat!
