Stupid as it may sound...
my goal has always been to own every single car in GT, at least one for each available models...
(never really finished GT2, nor GT4, but i did get everything in GT5-P

so i will eventually get both '03 and '06 :P in GT5

What I can't understand is why PD wouldn't just make the 2003 a Premium as well if there were any appreciable performance differences between them.

Hmmm. I'm still curious if we will be able to select car paint without purchasing a new car with that specific paint.

Good Point, but ... that would go against the GT tradition :P

It would save us tons of (GT) money/credits and time! not having to buy 2 or 3 same cars

Some Standards and Premiums listed, even though all have dark windows :D
A page from the CE Apex book

MURGH, no Aston DB6!

Only one new Amuse, only one Art Morrison.

Fingers crossed for the next page to reveal Audi 81 quattro and S1 and S2 Group B rally cars. But thats wishful thinking.

No DBS, no One-77, basically nothing new out of two pages of cars. Poo!

The db9 are two different cars and you can see it in the status

year of production: the 1st is 2006 the second 2003.. for them (pd) change something. I'ts not the same car premium and standard.

Again, other than a different year and (maybe) a few paint options... no, not really. It's the exact same as PD's insistence on throwing every single year and variation of R33 Skyline in.

Eh, I know what you mean... I think I owned 12 different Griffiths in GT4 on account of liking all the colours. Plus if you want all cars available in Arcade Mode, you need to own them all in Sim Mode at one point too. Getting everything in Prologue is not a big deal, though ;).

What I can't understand is why PD wouldn't just make the 2003 a Premium as well if there were any appreciable performance differences between them.

Yeah, I've wondered that too. Surely it'd be easy to bump the numbers up a bit, since they could just copy the '06 and get the paint options for the '03. Done.

We don't know if that's a final version of the pages; or indeed, if they are actual pages from the book. They could be mock-ups.

Purple is the best. And Cooper Green Metallic. And Crimson Starmist. And... hmmm. Yeah.
I had several in GT4, too, though I only bought that number across two saves!

I personally think we have seen many many "premium" cars. And for us to of seen that many cars as "premium" (basically they have an interior) i think they are not all premium at all.

My thoughts stem from the close up Lambo pics recently posted (the light and the wheel). The detail is absolutly CRAZY. I think that is a premium car. The RX7 with its interior is not a premium car in my opinion because it would not look that amazing close up, even in photo-mode.

What pictures?

Exactly, they got removed by request from Sony earlier. Sorry about that forgot that happened. Not sure if i'm allowed to post one up on here to show you either.

RX-7 is in some shots with GT4 cars, and the Lambo is in a shot with the Zonda.
I can't tell a difference.

^^ Yeah, I might buy a new HD as well, since these photos should take a lot of space and I will take a lot of them, meaning: lots of pics * lots of bytes = New HD.

I love the visuals to the point you will think that you dont need ps4, but i still want to see if all cars will have cockpit view or the 800+ cars will just be tinted glasses

Looks pretty darn real to me too. And some people scoffed at the "built for PS4" line. I wonder what they're thinking when they catch sight of these latest images.

For that matter, I wonder what other developers are thinking. You have to imagine that the race game developers are all cursing Kazunori right now. But what about all the others? "Crap... now we all have to look better than Crysis!"

Those are some gigantic shoes to fill now for other developers. Bigger than a pair of Shaq shoes.

Those premiums photo-mode

One of the last people on here that I thought would say that, but I totally agree. I know that we will probably never see eye to eye on the standard vs premium debate, but that is the same thing I have said about the standard cars all along. People have jumped to the conclusion that they do not like them, without trying them first, therefore jumping to a conclusion.

Yeah nobody knows anything for sure and everyone are just guessing
