Eifel with F2007 took 20 min 10 seconds, with a best lap of 1:58.2 something.

I think the settings were stock (can't remember did I tweak them or not).
I used DS3, it would be probably faster with a wheel.

EDIT: The transmission was set to 360 KPH.

Need to run the F10 some more to get it up to full song as the I've only ran it once in this challenge.

These events make it all the worthwhile of spending 12.5 mil for my F2007. I was so gutted before these seasonal events were released that I traded for my F10.
 
Just finished running these in an F2007 approx 500miles on the odometer 721hp

R246 :
Total - 20:55.898
Best Lap - 1:15.101

'Ring GP/F :
Total - 15:48.348
Best Lap - 1:29.795

Indy :
Total - 12:09.466 (spun out once)
Best Lap - 1:09.656

Suzuka :
Total - 16:24.776 (spun out 4x)
Best Lap - 1:31.472

Eifel :
Total - 20:15.968 (couple off course excursions)
Best Lap - 1:58.831

Racing Soft Tyres
Max Downforce
Speed Limit set to 360kph
ABS -1
TCS - 1
DS3 pad



Going to have another go with the downforce set back to default & see what kind of times I am able to acheive.
 
Fun course (Eifel) with a fun car. Liked it so much I made a 2 lap replay after I raced it.

Lap 1: 2:01.7

Lap 2: 1:55.3

F2007, Softs, ABS 1, full front (but not rear :sly: ) downforce on a DS3.

not giving up my trick suspension settings!

OMG. My best is a 1:10.4xx after a fresh oil change. That felt like a pretty good lap. Probably some time in it but not 4seconds!

Were you on racing softs or hards? I was on hards so it may have been that as well as not tuning suspension and running max downforce at the rear.. Still owned the AI though.. :P

Thanks, My F007 had a fresh oil change and racing soft tires top speed on the gearbox was 242mph and about 4 clicks up on the downforce not max.

Its was a pretty wild lap no corner cutting and I tried to keep the on the racing line as much as possible I found that the suggested gear is about 1 or 2 gears lower then you need on most corners.

Three out of four laps in 1:15.8xx, the rest in the 16's and 17's

fastest lap 1:15.3 (third of four laps)

F2007 straight out of the box. Not as fast as some, but I'm happy and took the lead at the start of lap 2.

Great track. Definitely more in both cars, just need more seat time to find it.

I can very consistantly get in the 1.56's with all default settings. But that is close to the ragged edge. Out of 10 laps I average 2 bad laps due to spins.

With mistakes. Still haven't put in the perfect lap.
I think the F07 fully tuned is capable of consistent 1:54s.

what suspension setting do you guys use in this event ?

most importantly the front and rear camber?
my time was at 2.7 front camber, and 1.4 rear camber

I just picked up the F07 last friday so I'm still weaning myself off driver aids.
MT TC1 ABS1 all else off.
 
Is everyone using a wheel? Yet to break 2:00 with PS3 controller. Probably I need to put in more practice.
 
DS3 cause I'm a fat, lazy American.

If I actually wanted to steer a car with a wheel I would go drive my own :)

jk, I cannot afford a wheel right now or I would probably split time between both

even less jk, my RX7 is broken and I cannot afford to fix it right now either
 
I seriously love this Challenge, the F2007 kicks Formula-ASS. It is amazing. I just want to lift the idea (in case the one-in-a-million chance PD will read this thread) that the Ferrari challenge, and other seasonals could be made Championships. For example could the payout for the Ferrari events be 200,000 cr per race, and the championship reward be the total of the five raceses (like usual), which would then be 1,000,000 cr. The total payout would then be 2,000,000 cr. That would be even more amazing!
 
Just picked up an R89C from the UCD so I've been using Eifel for grinding.
