Zonda R No exhaust sound?

It's a sound glitch when you upgrade some of the cars. My XJ13 is the same way after upgrading it.

My Yellowhat GT-R doesnt make any noise when racing either. Pretty annoying forking over 1,000,000+ and all i hear is wind and the turbo.

My zonda just died too.

Don't worry, I'm sure Kevin Buttler will fix it...in about 8-10 years considering it took him 6 years to release the critically acclaimed turbo whine and rumble strip album.

I heard someone say to go to your options menu and delete your network cache or something...

Did that and Got Sound for my Zonda R 👍

To be Honest it still sounds Crap just slightly louder crap :grumpy:

Mine is a hybrid now too.. the network cache thing didn't work.. oh well, on the bright side B-Spec races i can hear my music better.. :D

deleting the network cache worked for me but someone else in that thread wasn't as lucky.

edit, my sounds dropped when i bought a car went straight to engine mod 3 and the big turbo without even using/hearing the car at all. take off any engine mods you added so you as close to stock as you can, race the car bone stock. turn ps3 off, back on, empty cache, race car stock again and see if the sound comes back.

the problem seems to start when you don't use the car at all and mod it engine3 and big turbo. at least use the demo to hear the car once.

Nope, did not work for me.... Will try all the other stuff you mentioned Bone. I have a PS3 Fat by the way. This probably matters.

But seriously...they must have been smoking some real good dope to think this game is worthy of GT, I mean prologue was infinitely better than this excuse. Yoshimitsu must not really be Japaese because if he was he would have committed Hairy-Kerry by now after this mess.

I mean don't get me wrong the game is friggin awsome, but its more irritating than fun at this point. It's like a grilfriend you can't have sex with, looks good but not worth too much and very annoying.

The Zonda R sans exhaust is like a hot chick that doesn't moan when you rail her.

"Mine is a hybrid now too"...lol.

I have the same problem with my Steatlh GTR GT500 i will try and delete network cache and see if it works for me.

mine is a fat PS3 also but the sound did get fixed. only reason i knew i had a problem is because my brothers had exhaust noise. try playing on a different account name and see if it works.

Ok Guess what Dummy Put Turbo's on 3 Cars :dunce:

Only afterwards did said Dummy take the Cars out to the Practise Track and all 3 of them Ended up Sounding like ****ing Vaccum Cleaners :grumpy:

Not a Happy Bunny :grumpy:

So today I did the Delete the Cache thing 3 bloody times :dunce:

And guess What It Worked 👍

Basically all I did was Select Each Car in the Garage , Deselect the Turbo (anyone wanna buy 3 Turbos ) Set the Car Back to Default then Deleted the Cache and Re-Started the PS3 ( 320GB Slim ) for Each Time I Went to Default on Each Car and Now there all Fine

Cars where

ZONDA R - Its noisy Now

Nissan GTR-GT500 Stealth

Jaguar XJR-9LM

Thank god for that

Now if I could only fix that god awfull Racket that comes out of the AUDI R10 :grumpy:

you can safely put the turbos on now, i put mine back on after confirming i got exhaust noise in 1 race.

1. took off turbo
2. deleted cache
3. raced car to confirm sound was there. exhaust noise was there.
4. put turbo back on
5. raced car again to make sure i didn't screw my self a 2nd time. exhaust noise was still there and haven't had a problem since.

Excellant 👍

Think i'll give it another go :nervous:

I'll rip me Hair out if my XJ-R9 LM loses it sound again though :grumpy:

good luck LOL, you should be in the clear at this point. i've just been making sure to race every car near stock since at least once.

Stop putting turbos on cars that don't normally have them. Problem solved.

Seriously, it is weird to me that people want to upgrade their cars to the point that they barely resemble their real life counterparts as far as performance is concerned. Why would you want to muzzle the sound of a beautiful v12 and kill all the low end torque with a high rpm turbo?

I understand that everyone has their own opinion and likes to do things their own way, so I apologize if I am upsetting or offending anybody.

It was just my opinion. I don't give a rat's a** how you play the game. I'm just curious why people like to make cars completely unrepresentative of their real life counterparts. maybe you can enlighten me.

Well first if you don't give a rats a** then why would you even want me to enlighten you? I find that more weird than people putting superchargers and turbos on cars in a game they paid for.

Now to your curiosity, because my garage can hold a billion cars so i can have the same car outfitted in every possible trim. why limit my fun, that and what is "unrepresentative" exactly? Camaros and Vettes don't roll off the line with superchargers but i can't go a day here without running into one with a turbo or procharger. Well that and i have a 80mm Garret turbo for mine. unrepresentative is relative to each person.

Fuc|< that, Gemballa put turbos on Enzo's, see what happened to him...Whatbrown must have killed him in South Africa. We should listen to whatbrown and not put turbos on cars anymore, or else we may end up like Gemballa...

I tried man, it worked like once and then reverted back to prius synergy drive.

Hopefully this is patched soon, I love this car...:grumpy:
