A new set of Gran Turismo 7 Weekly Challenges arrives this Friday, July 17, as your console clock rolls past midnight. Five events await across the week, four standard World Circuits races plus one Special Event, with bonus tickets on offer for anyone who checks off enough of them before the set resets.
If you’re new to the format, Weekly Challenges unlock once you’ve completed the GT Cafe career through Menu Book 39 and watched the ending movie. Each week pairs four standard World Circuits races with one Special Event, and finishing enough of them nets bonus reward tickets at one, three, and five wins, delivered straight to your Gifts section (redeem them before they expire). Add up the individual win rewards and the completion tickets, and a full clean sweep of the week’s events is worth somewhere in the neighborhood of 1.3 million credits.
This Week’s Highlights
The Special Event leads the way at Autodromo Nazionale Monza, where the Ferrari 296 GTB gets a one-make race all to itself over six laps for a 105,000cr win reward.
It’s a fun all-Italian affair, with a very fast car on a very fast track. The 296 GTB made its GT7 debut as one of the additions in the Spec III / Update 1.65 rollout back in December, landing in Brand Central for 500,000cr.
The headline World Circuits race is the World Touring Car 800 at High Speed Ring, a 20-lap challenge in Race Cars worth 160,000cr to the winner (the biggest single payout of the week). It should be a fairly easy one on paper, but keep an eye on the weather.
Elsewhere, Fuji Speedway hosts a five-lap Race of Turbo Sportscars for 90,000cr, and Brands Hatch GP’s European Clubman Cup 600 pays 25,000cr for three laps of European road cars. Blue Moon Bay Speedway’s American FR Challenge 550 is the low point of the week at just 10,000cr, though at three laps it’s also over quickly.
