The Viewers Gift Campaign for Round 2 of the Gran Turismo World Series is up and running again, with entries working as of earlier today. Polyphony Digital suspended the campaign over the weekend after the entry system broke down at the start of the Tokyo broadcast, leaving players unable to register for the two free “Stealth Model” cars.
We detailed the prizes last month: a Toyota FT-1 Vision Gran Turismo (Gr.3) for the Manufacturers Cup stream, and a Mazda 787B ’91 for the Nations Cup. Neither will ever be sold in GT7, so if you want them in your Garage, this is the only way in.
The process takes almost less than a minute. Click the “Viewers Campaign” button at the top of the main World Map screen in GT7, then open each of the two broadcast links. You only need to watch a few seconds of each stream for your entry to count; there’s no need to sit through the full replays, though the racing was well worth watching if you missed it.
Once your entry has been received, the Nations Cup and Manufacturers Cup buttons on the campaign screen will update to show it, so you’ll know straight away whether you’re in.
The entry window closes on Monday, August 31 at 8:59 UTC, which leaves just under two weeks. Get your entries in sooner rather than later, just in case. Both cars will be distributed on Tuesday, September 1, via the Gifts tab in your Garage.
