Thrustmaster TMX Force Feedback Steering Wheel Revealed, Coming in May

Prominent accessory manufacturer Thrustmaster is back in the spotlight with another interesting product – the TMX Force Feedback racing wheel, with highly adaptive force feedback effect. The new steering wheel has been officially designed for Xbox One, but the manufacturer ensures full compatibility on Windows platform PC’s as well.

To ensure that force feedback intensity could be altered to meet the needs of many users, Thrustmaster’s development team had to construct an adequate motor. They succeeded, as it features a mixed belt-pulley and gears system with a metal ball-bearing axle, a combination that should satisfy both quality and performance needs. The rotation range of the wheel can also be adjusted, from 270 to 900 degrees. 12-bit resolution (4096 values for each of the two axis) and appropriate optical sensors guarantee high precision.

Thrustmaster’s new steering wheel is also compatible with other in-house products, namely the Thrustmaster 3-Pedal setups, and the TH8A shifter. By ordering the product, buyers will also get 2-pedal set with progressive resistance and pedal adjustability.

The new TMX is said to appear on sale in May, with a price starting at £169,99. How do you like the product? Share you thoughts in the comments below.

Looks like a G25/G27 with black paint & more buttons. How good are the pedals? better than G27? Is it moddable?

Will recommend this wheel for beginners… Price is right for this type of wheel. I personally now own thrustmaster T300 integral Alcantara, it’s a blast, project cars, dirt, asetto corsa, gt6 all plays superb… Nice to see price, that actually is affordable to everyone.

Suck? Really. I found that the jump from G25 to T500 was amazing, more detailed feedback, more torque, an awesome set of pedals! had it for 2 years, 35,000 miles of Gt6, just starting some Poject cars and no problems.
I like the old Logitech 25/27 but the G29 looks like a toy and is probably just a 27 underneath.

Good on Thrustmaster to continue to support the low end wheel market. Too bad for consumers that Logitech no longer competes at the low end so we can get a bit of competition going on pricing

Indeed, but there is a little diference, the T150 has 1080 degrees and this TMX 900 degrees… All The rest seems the same but with the buttons for the Microsoft Xbox One
