With E3 kicking off this week, and GT Sport events already taking place in London, Nürburg, and Tokyo, fans of the franchise are itching to get a chance for a test drive before the game arrives on PS4 in mid-November. We’ve got good news, at least for UK residents: GTPlanet has teamed up with Sony Computer Entertainment UK to give you the chance to win free admission to GT Sport’s second appearance in the country, at the prestigious Goodwood Festival of Speed!

Three pairs of tickets for each day of the event are up for grabs. Entrants can select which day they would like to attend, meaning a dozen lucky winners will get to rub shoulders with some of the biggest names in the automotive industry, check out incredible cars, and – of course – be amongst the first to experience the latest installment in the Gran Turismo series.

As Goodwood partners for the fourth year in a row, Polyphony Digital and Sony Computer Entertainment will be providing visitors with two different GT Sport experiences. Over in the Volkswagen stand, a selection of tracks play host to both the mk7 Golf GTI road car and GTI Vision Gran Turismo concept. GT Sport will also be playable within the prestigious TAG Heuer Drivers Club, where players will be able to take their seat in a custom-built PlayStation gaming pod to explore some of what the new game has to offer.

To have a chance at winning, you’ll need to answer the following question:

In 1999, Nick Heidfeld set the record time for the Goodwood Hillclimb, what time did he do this in?

a) 39.4 seconds
b) 40.8 seconds
c) 41.6 seconds

Please submit your entry including your name, address, answer and the day of Goodwood Festival of Speed you wish to attend (Thursday 23, Friday 24, Saturday 25 or Sunday 26 June) to GTSport@HPSJardine.com before 23:59pm BST on Friday, 17th June 2016.

Can somebody please find out the status of GT6 while they are there? I’m sure I’m not alone in wondering if it is considered to be completely finished or if there may be more updates and content forthcoming.

Best of luck to all who enter this!

Kyle – thanks for adding the info about where GT Sport will be playable as that will be really helpful to anyone from the site who attends.

I have been to FoS the last two years and can highly recommend it to anyone going. I have entered this contest as well of course.

I’ve seen the VW VGT already. At the FoS last year. And the year before. And at the Copper Box as well 3 weeks ago lol. It is a great looking VGT car though. :D
