It was retro launch with a few personal touches. That was not cheating on the previous board (as much as I know of)

Wow, no wonder I could never get close to his times, I always knew something was going on there, awhile back the ACR was running 8.97's and I couldn't get close to that, now I know why, wonder how many people still do that lol.

For a while there, it was Hydro vs Solo Brotherhood fighting for top spots and bragging rights. They did have advantage over us on the tree, but we had very similar times on the boards so they could never claim they were truly faster. I'd be right up there again but my priorities have changed and I don't have the spare time like I used to. It was fun to be in the spotlight but now, with hacked parts and weird super-launches online, it really ruined the fun of it all. All submitted times are taken with a grain of salt. I hope this community will hold together in the next game and have a fair and fun tuning environment for the future.

True they had the tree for a while (most of Solos guys were good friends with us anyways). It was pretty even between the 2 teams. I agree with this though, hacking and mods etc really ruined it.

Interesting that you didn't include that in your transmission guide as it changing transmission ratios has a lot to do with transmissions imo. What's also interesting is that you didn't even share "the secret" with your team leader.

It was a secret that few of us talked about because we held times above the top leaderboards. Karo knew about it, as did AKA, DLR & JR. I figured Slash did but never thought to ask him if he did. It is what kept us ahead of the competition, which is why it wasn't talked about openly.

Actually I knew about it now that I think about it.I found a few threads in the group talking about it. It's been a while since I've played though so I forgot. My post regarding this is not valid. I feel like an idiot now.

That was just one of the few things that kept us above everyone else. Most of the secrets have gotten out now though, so its anyones guess who is good now or not.

Ok this was like 11 pages of bickering... Did anyone try his tune with stock rims rather than aftermarket or vice versa? THIS WILL CHANGE GEARING ON SOME CARS ...

Also, Did you all know you can't swap transmissions anymore? And you can only mod transmission with only an adjustable final (like the S. Vettel)

@OP:
You say "check your log" well when I put parts into my mod acct. they do not show up..

I do not care who does what anymore, this is why no one ever see's me on my Stupid-Fast_Jay acct. all the car on there, except for one WHICH IS ON SHARE, are legit, i just stay on my main account where i have tons of both modded and unmodded.. but i will not come into a room and lie to everyone, i clearly let everyone know i am using a modded car or whatever... But there is a very rare combination room to be found: legit + regulated + no kids + no whiney a** noobs calling us pros "hackers" cause they are slow...

I don't know who is right or wrong here as after page 2 I gave up reading the back-and-forth arguing, maybe it's been resolved? I don't know.. But this was my input on it..

Okay, so, here's the deal, I tried out for Team Horizon and (long story short) I didn't make the team because recorder010 says my cars are hacked, he is taking a particular interest in my M5 '08 saying that it's running a hacked transmission, I have never hacked in my life, and I would like to prove that my M5 '08 does run 9.844 with no hacks. If there is anyone out there that has a fully broken in M5 '08, could you add me, I will gladly give you my tune so that you can run it and get the proof that I am legit. I would prefer someone that wont steal my tune afterward, I don't care about making Team Horizon anymore, I just want to prove that I am legit. If nobody believes that I am legit, just add me and check my log, I haven't received any hacked parts.

We already figured it out and if you had read through it, you should have figured that out! Shells did not hack his M5, it was legit, no one needs you to confirm it anymore after we all already have. Rather than going mental at mme, you could have asked for a base tune that would easily beat your 9.9 but now, frankly I don't give a 🤬 too. Stay slow.
