It looks a new set of cars from the world of Hot Wheels may soon be on its way to Forza Horizon 4, with the toy car brand continuing a partnership that’s coming up on five years old.

PlayStation Spain has organized an official national championship for Gran Turismo players resident in the country, which takes place later this month.

According to Polyphony Digital studio boss Kazunori Yamauchi, the total lifetime player count for Gran Turismo Sport now stands at 9.5 million users. Yamauchi shared this figure as part of an interview with Japanese journalist Toshifume Watanabi, for the Japanese regional version of Octane magazine, published this last weekend.

That includes new Balance of Performance (BOP) calculations for the various vehicles involved ahead of the first racing action of the season.
