Just over a month after significant price increases hit Fanatec’s U.S. and Canadian customers due to soaring import tariffs, the company has announced a welcome reversal. With a recent reduction in those tariffs, Fanatec is now lowering prices and offering compensation to those who purchased equipment with inflated costs.
In a statement released today, Fanatec acknowledged the frustration of customers who bought products at the higher, tariff-adjusted prices and is providing two options for affected U.S. and Canadian customers who made purchases on Fanatec.com between April 7, 2025, and May 18, 2025:
- Refund the Difference: Eligible customers can opt for a full refund of the price difference between what they paid during the specified period and the new, lower price. This refund will be issued directly to the original payment method.
- 25% Discount Code: Alternatively, customers can choose to receive a one-time-use 25% discount code valid for any single order on Fanatec.com, with no restrictions on the products it can be applied to.
This welcome news comes after a turbulent period for Fanatec pricing in North America. As we reported in early April, the launch of Fanatec’s new website coincided with substantial price jumps across nearly its entire product line for U.S. buyers.
To take advantage of the offer, affected customers should visit this FAQ section of Fanatec’s support portal. There, they will find the appropriate form or instructions to make their choice between the refund or the discount code. As always, we will continue to monitor the situation.
