If you have been waiting for the right time to upgrade your sim rig, that moment might have just arrived.
Following price reductions for its standalone Direct Drive wheel bases announced earlier this week, Fanatec has announced it is extending its “new standard pricing” to a significant number of bundles. The drops are effective immediately and affect nearly every major Gran Turismo-branded product in the ecosystem, from the entry-level GT DD Pro to the flagship GT DD Extreme.
According to an email sent to partners, these adjustments are part of a “broader pricing review” intended to align pricing across all configurations.
The discounts are substantial. In the United States, the flagship Gran Turismo DD Extreme, which features the 15 Nm ClubSport DD+ base, has dropped from $1,499.99 USD to $1,219.99 USD. That is a $280 reduction. For context, when we reviewed the wheel at launch, it was priced at $1,299 USD, meaning this new price point is significantly lower than the introductory MSRP.
European sim racers are also seeing major cuts, with the same bundle dropping €200 to hit €1,099.95.
Here is a breakdown of the specific price changes for the most popular Gran Turismo hardware across the major regions. Use any of the affiliate links on this page to access the deals directly, or head on over to your regional store to shop all the new prices.
