I love dining with other people's money. Cocktail: Ginger Julep-- mint, ginger, lime, drambouie, something, and ginger beer. 1st course, seafoods platters. Mutant shrimps, lobstertails, oysters, crab legs, and some kind of citrus-thai crab salad on ice slabs set in acrylic. Main course, 16oz prime NY strip, pictured, with truffle fries, truffle potatoes au gratin, sour cream potato pancake pie (

), broccolini, creamed spinach, and asparagus. Desert: Vietnamese coffee and pumpkin souffle, pictured. Pumpkin souffle had a brandy pecan sauce (middle) with some kind of ice cream with nutty seeds in it. I forget what the ice cream was, exactly. Vietnamese coffee is pretty good though. It's basically sweetened, condensed milk at the bottom of a glass with a dark (french) roast dripped or poured over it. You can stir up the drink until it's sweet enough and then enjoy the sticky, thick milk at the end.
