Keep in mind that you can also lighten the car, and then add ballast to get it to the proper weight limit and balance it a little better.

Brake Bias: F 10 - R 8

Ride Height: F -15 - R -12
Anti Roll Bars: F 5 - R 5
Camber: F 2.3 - R 1.0
Tow: F0.00 - R 0.20

Gears: Set to 143 with Final gear at 3.860

LSD: 20 - 20
40 - 40
60 - 60

Drivetrain: 35 - 65

Downforce: R 20

NOTE: Use a Mid Range RPM Turbo as it gives better results coming out of the corners.....

Best lap time was a 1:34:5xx Using a DS3 controller

This is the winning setup, guys. Thanks for your help!

Yeah I don't understand why this isnt working. I just golded the french time trial on my first attempt and I can't get past 5th..

The fastest laps were 1'34,xxx, the overall finishing time was 7'55,0xx and I overtook the leading GT-R in the braking for the Corkscrew. The power figures are for a fully broken in engine (I think) - adjust accordingly for your engine. It's not a nice car to drive as it's a "quick'n dirty" setup and there's no grip to be found for most of the time thanks to the tyres but it got the job done for me.

I've managed to gold the others with ease. Well fiat easy stock. Elise easy with rkm's tune but this I got 5th.. Man I love the challenge more like this I say!

Just got 2nd all I did was add a mid range turbo and lower power back to 394.

Golded STI. Used a mixture of tunes made into one (and a little of my own). Got sub 8mins as a final time, 7' 56". Just keep your times in the low 1:35s and high 1:34s. My fastest lap was a 1:345x.

3rd on first go. Only thing I adjusted was a 10-90 torque split. Crashed twice though...Sure I can do 1st place. Dunno what understeer you guys are complaining about. It's very controllable and only becomes really understeery going into the corner after the cork screw.

I got 5th too , but with the bonestock Impreza (0 miles)

And btw this car turns very well with the stock Suspension ;)

The closer to you go to 50/50 torque split, the more understeer you get, but the faster the car seems to go. So at 10/90 you're inducing as much oversteer as that setting can allow.

Used OSE_CAP_SHADOW's setup and did it in a couple of tries.

1,36.8xx
1,34.6xx
1,35.4xx
1,34.4xx
1,35.2xx

Great challenge!

I golded it 3rd attempt using the suspension from Paulie's tune in TCC (use the all tunes in this forum thread in the GT5 section if you want to find it). It has horrible, horrible understeer but by cornering slower than you think you should, you will actually go much quicker. Slow in fast out has never been more correct than with this car.

I did it! No suspension tunning done. Only thing I did was this...

Torque Split: 10-90
Brake Bias: 0-8

It was hard, definitely was. A single mistake could have easily cost me the race.

On my 4th attempt. I got a 1'37 on my first lap, was pretty impressed with myself, then every lap afterwords i got a 1 39...

Woo hoo I just beat it thanks to this setup. This is the proper setup for DS3 users in my opinion. Completely maxing out the car and then using the power limiter & Weight Adjustment Ballast makes this a whole lot easier.

Thanks Greycap!

The level 23 ticket gave me a; Courage - Judd GV5 Race Car '04. 👍

It's all about balancing the car out.

Make sure you have low camber settings and hard springs, that's pretty much all you need.

Also, if you can't get close, just crash into the skyline in the last corner.

Right, Since a friend of mine needed help with this challenge, I decided to give him a nice tune, that would not only make the car less understeery but also quite playful. You might not like this setup, you might love it, the only wait to find out is to try it.

After some more careful testing, I am now lapping mid 1;34's, a high 33 is possible

Clarification on the Ride height -- is that +20 / -20?

Or is it the more conventional -20 / -20?

Thanks!

Just gonna say this took a couple tries but then I seen greycaps setup. Golded it and best lap time was a 1:34.159. Awesome setup greycap.:)

Guys, Another trick I have found to balance the car is to put 'Comfort Soft' tyres on the rear, nearly makes the car enjoyable to drive!

After finally getting gold I won a Nissan R92CP :D

Should've read this whole thread first. Spent a good hour trying to beat it with the tune on the first page. Wasn't happening. Fastest lap was in the low 1:36s...

I can only change the differential to a maximum of 35-65. Where is the 10-90 coming from?

Err...The torque sensing center differential allows you to go all the way up to 10-90. Dunno what you're on about. Heck if 0-100 was allowable I would have used that. Love RWD cars.

The Subaru Impreza may be good for straight roads, but in corners it handles like a cow. This event kind of ruined my relationship with Subarus :P

I made a vid of the in-car replay and TV replay of the Sti seasonal-After a few tries I beat it. I'll post link after it's uploaded.. Fun seasonal! All of them were this time, except the Fiat 500 one- it was a challenge, but not too much fun with 65hp.

You just have to know how to drive it.

Can someone copy and paste greycap's tune up here? I've searched on my phone and can't find it. And links are acting up as well ):

Glad you asked. It's +20 on the front, -20 on the back.

Can I just quickly as why? Is it to try and get 50/50 weight distribution?

Edit: Its just that I am currently so close to golding and trying to tweak my tuning to get that last .5 second a lap!!
