I know. I just couldn't help playing with the car in photo mode and figured I'd throw them on here in case the one you took turned out to be problematic.

EDIT: Guess I should point out I changed my wheels, though the color is the same so it shouldnt be an issue for the driver pic.

I admit to cutting corners and for that I apologize.

I also admit to a purpose in doing so, and now it is clear that this group is serious about clean racing. I was kicked from the practice room so quickly I did not have a chance to explain this. So many rooms are nothing but kiddie bumper car events run with completely unrealistic soft racing tires. I wanted to find a group of serious racers, and I have.

I apologize for my unorthodox way of testing your group. I promise clean racing, which is what I was looking for. I hope I did not spoil your practice race. I have applied for a spot and hope you will consider adding me to the race roster.

If there are any practice rooms going today I'll probably hop on for a bit. I'm mainly interested in practicing trial mountain though so I may stick in my own lounge.

Btw, the driver graphics in the OP are a fantastic idea. Being able to match names/people to cars on the track elevates the impressiveness (:dunce:) immersion of the sereis.

Jason, just want to verify that I am good to go to race. Unfortunately I have been without electricity since yesterday around 2PM Eastern Time. I live in Connecticut and we got nailed with a snow storm, more than half of the state is without power.

If you have a replay saved, or anyone else does, please feel free to make a driver graphic from it, though the color has changed slightly. It's now an electric orange similar to the TC RX7, with Matte black Volk TE-37's. If not, I will get a driver graphic made up as soon as I have electricity (which unfortunately might not happen for many days.)

Being without power REALLY sucks.

Anyway, really looking forward to Trial Mountain, been quite fast there now and have the line and braking points dialed in.

Also Jason, what is the ruling going to be for the T2/T3 "launch through the air" complex at Trial Mountain? :) Left side wheels over the rumble strips (i.e. OLR Rules perpendicular to the ground when in mid air?) Or maybe this going to be more of an open/less strict area? The rubbered line is right on the rumble strips there. Just want to put that out there (again, in lieu of the fact we are running zero penalties.) I don't think anywhere else on track will cause any major concern...obviously you can straight line the final esses but that will be readily easy to make a ruling on; just the nature of the mid-air T1/T2 complex would be good to review prior :) 👍

We'll probably need a picture of your new colors. The last I remember you running at Laguna was with a red car with silver wheels. As far as the jumping cars, I'm not too worried about it. Obviously some people will do it on accident, but I don't expect anyone to do it on purpose. I know a lot of these guys and have been racing with a majority of them in this series for some time. If someone see's something that they deem unacceptable, just let me know and I'll take a look at the replay.

Its next week isn't it? My assumption was it'd be after this Integra series finished, which is next week or so..

I just have to say I was in the few races your talking about.I think your a liability out there.You not only cut the track but you olso drove very erratic making aggressive moves on straights and pushing people through corners.

It was delayed a week due to North Americans having the DLC delay. Would've only given us 5 day of practice.

Best angle to get is where the rear view mirror hides or almost hides the spoiler on the left side of the car. 👍

that does bring up an interesting point though... RT are you going to host every race?

I'd assume Wardez would be hosting D3; but if not my connection is pretty solid so I could do it if need be.
I'm poor until xmas so it's not like I have anything better to do with my weekends. ;)

I think you have me confused with someone else. I was careful to avoid contact and I'm not aware of pushing anyone or being aggressive. I however was punted into the wall twice by drivers ramming from behind. Nor was I the only driver to cut corners, which I saw at least twice, and frankly that surprised me, but it was much cleaner than your average open lobby.
 
I could also host Div 3 if you guys want. My rooms are almost always solid, even if I'm having the occasional internet problem (like tonight).

See the second post of the thread. There you can find the number of remaining openings (eight in total, and at least one in each of the three divisions) and a link to register for one of the three divisions. Since there area still openings and the season has not started my guess is that it is not too late to signup.

The OP should have all the info you need.

Man that first Trial Mountain race I was .4xx up on the pole time and missed locking in the time by a couple seconds when the race was started. :(

On November 4th, 2011 I will be sending out a confirmation email to all drivers making sure that you plan on attending the first race. If I do not receive an answer by Sunday Morning (November 6th), you will officially be replaced by a Reserve Driver. Also, during the season if you miss a race without first contacting me to let me know you will be absent, you will officially be replaced by a Reserve Driver.

I think this sentence is why I thought once someone is replaced by a reserve driver then the reserve driver gets to keep the spot for the remainder of the season. This sentence could explicitly say the reserve driver is a temporary substitute for the race in question only, or something to that effect.

I'm looking forward to when all the driver pics are up. I'm eager to see exactly who is in my division. The OP as a whole is looking great.
