My opinion: I really, really, REALLY, dislike MCR. It's all emo and weird... Anyways who want's to watch Rick Astley's never gonna give you up?

Perhaps put a video of the song in your OP? And it's too late for a poll.

It's MCR isn't it? Then no. Bad decision.
 
Well no one has heard the song and new MCR is nothing like their old stuff... so i love it already
 
I think it's ok, unless they change the game style with this song, but i don't think it will happen.
 
Call me old fashioned, but i have no idea how the music from MCR is...
i have never heard of them...
Maybe i have, but wouldn't know it is from them...

Let's just say i am a MCR virgin
Nevertheless, i dont want to check out or listen to any of their previous material.
SO i am going to skip YouTube all together, and wait patiently until the game is in my hands...

Only then will i make an idea for myself on whether PD's choices mix well between the intro video and its music...

I will stay a MCR virgin until then ;)

I quite like some MCR songs but really, no idea.
Can't judge over anything I haven't heard yet.

The song is FAIL, just like the band

Gran Turismo hasn't had a good soundtrack since Gran Turismo 2.
But I don't care anymore, I just turn the music off.
Or if you want, supposedly you'll be able to make custom soundtracks.

cpp214, the news page specifically points out that the YouTube song you posted isn't Planetary (GO). It's not even a song by MCR.

That was the worst load of 🤬 🤬 I have ever seen.
 
I don't know this band well, but I'm looking forward to it. However if I should choose a band it will be Linkin Park with no doubt. :sly:

And I didn't read the comments on the YouTube page because I NEVER read them.
They're just moronic nonsensical ramblings or spam anyway.

I'm not going to edit my post, because it was only half-FAIL.
The band is still FAIL and whatever garbage song they put in as the intro
will be FAIL too :lol:

Exactly. But as you can see, there are already people blowing off some steam. ^Pretty nice example up there.
 
Does it really matter if this song is used for the opening video? How many times will you even listen to it when you play the game.
 
Lets see, a song we've never heard before will be the intro, so we should all judge it before any of us know what it is.
And if that YouTube video was real it would have been pulled by now, so that pretty much disproves that all together.
I'm hoping it will be good, but I don't know a damn thing about the band that wrote the song, so I'll have to see.
