Hating the band isn't really a good reason for disliking the intro song already. I thought Metallica were the greatest band in the world until they released Reloaded and I got massively disappointed.
Now, having said that, I know without a doubt I'll hate this MCR song because I hate their genre

I haven't bothered to read it yet, but i won't judge the song until i hear it and see the video on my PS3 console.
Judge it for all i care. It's not like it brings anything constructive to the conversation.
on another note (no pun intended): I am not really a fan of MCR, but i don't hate em so i'll have to see what the future holds

For the people that keep bringing up the emo issue, they've supposedly changed their sound for this album. If you ever heard The Cardigans before they released 'Gran Turismo' (they changed their sound for the album), you never would've picked them to release a song for the series. Yet 'My Favorite Game' is probably the best song in the US intros for the series.

Fantastic Song, Fantastic Intro. Let's hope the emo romance is better than this (which I personally highly doubt).

Glad I'm not the only one here that thinks so. May as well make some threads such as, what do you think of the background image in the GT5 Ferrari dealership? How about the loading screen for the Nurburgring in GT5? Think it looks cool? *sigh*

Well, maybe when the song comes out we will have a damned thread here and ready to have decent conversations.

, what a stupid choice for a band to do the intro to possibly the most anticipated racer ever, i mean surely most of us must have been gutted when jack white and alicia keys did the quantum of solice theme tune and this will be much the same i.e bloody crap as we all know to expect from mcr

I agree, this is a rather pointless thread.
I feel as if opinions could be stated a bit more respectfully. Music, like art, is very subjective. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean it's "bloody crap", or "garbage".
That said, I'm not too excited about the band choice either, but we'll see the end result soon.

I see no point to this thread. I can't judge a song that I haven't yet heard. I see that the main argument here is to judge it based on the band, so you should change the topic from:

Why are you trying so hard and going out of your way to take a thread down? If it does not interest you, just don't visit it. Some of us have our thoughts, you don't need to come here saying that this is a horrible thread, some of use find it useful. Just leave the thread and the members here alone. That's all.

Because I visit the board in hopes of reading some useful threads. I can express my opinion here as well, so deal with it. I have my thoughts too, but how can you have thoughts about a song that noone has ever heard, it doesn't make any sense, think about it. Seems like alot of other people agree, so why don't you tell them to go away too. I'm just the one that spoke up first.
