HEy everyone im new here..and i need help

ok i just got GT3 a while ago and my first car is a way souped up PT cruiser (bad coice? ) and i have about 20,000 credits..i can not win anything with my pt besides the Super Speedway races...i need a new car. What car should i get? im thinkin i save up for a BMW or a Benz.....got any other good cars that are (semi) cheap?
