Just like the other drivers with potentially locked in spots for both RCS and TCS, those drivers must confirm by the allotted time.
Below are the top 10 in points with provisional entries into the Main Event. The below listed drivers (not listed in BOLD below) need to confirm their intent to race at Willow Springs - Big Willow by replying in this topic (no later than 8:00pm eastern today) with a simple post that they plan to race this week (Example - I plan to race this week). I will update the list accordingly.

  3. CAPECOD104 - Confirmed
  4. kgffty - Confirmed
  5. Wardenclyffe - Confirmed
  6. brntguy - Confirmed
  7. GrimGrnninGhost - Will not be racing this week

Touring Car Series Qualifier - GTP_Ph7shr - @Ph1sher

All other series drivers not list as confirmed above will need to qualify for the race via the "Knock-Out Qualifying Procedure".

Based on the above (and why I always tag the TCS Qualifier) to ensure they confirm just like any other top 10 driver.

That said, is he in the KOQ lobby?

You just have enough time to run a lap in KOQ, which you'll need to do to race tonight. JOIN NOW!

No, he's not here. Still 8 on track for 9 spots. Thank you for clarifying!

9 on track for 9 spots.

Race lobby is now open.

We had 9 qualify in through KOQ. I'm fairly certain this season is going to rock.

Wish I could be there. It seems every season it gets more and more popular.

First race was fun. No one was gonna catch vovik. Well done sir.
Race 2 I wrecked twice on lap one so I called it a night.

I will try again next week.

Glad you enjoyed the first race however I would like to remind you that quitting out of the race is something we don't like to see in either RCS or TCS. This has been an issue in the past so we expect the drivers to finish the race. See the bolded part below under the General Rules. Please let me know if you have any questions.

General Rules

  • We expect all drivers to follow the S.N.A.I.L. OLR(which is a modified version of the GTP OLR) and pursue good racecraft at all times.
  • If you're not sure what good racecraft is, watch this video.
  • It can be summed up in one simple 'Golden Rule' of motorsports: It is the responsibility of the overtaking driver, meaning the car that is attempting to execute the pass, to make sure that the pass is made cleanly and incident free. If you don't agree with this rule or don't think it applies to you, this is not the series for you.
  • "Blue Flag" expectations can be found here.
  • Part time drivers will be allowed to re-apply to Active driver status at the start of the following season based on case by case request.
  • All drivers will refrain from doing donuts, burnouts, drifting, driving backwards/reverse or any other activity that would be a distraction to other drivers on the track during all Official RCS Sanctioned Events (practice sessions, KOQ, Main Events, etc..)
  • Additionally, if you are going to park along the track edge to "watch" please make sure you are as far away from the racing surface as possible so as to no cause a distraction to other drivers.
  • In the event of an incident with other drivers during the race, do not discuss it via chat during the race. Repeat offences of this policy will result in being suspended for a minimum of 1 week.
  • Drivers are to continue to race and put their best effort the entire race night.
    • Due to the unique nature of the series and the KOQ process, this is to ensure that drivers are not left out that would have otherwise raced if given the chance
    • Of course real life situations occur from time to time as well as the random DC. This is not meant to penalize the occasional situation.
    • Continued repeat violation of this regulation will be managed at the discretion of the Series Director.

Yea they frown upon that.

Wow that was one tough nite. Brutal, different, but dare I say fun and challenging? Had offs both races which dashed any chances of a podium, what a track! Good racing fellas.

Wow is right, I had lots of fun and some great battles tonight, seemed like Norm and I spent a great deal of time together. Good clean racing as well. I was so pumped after race two, I kept a steady pace, never went off and got a 5th place, the best result for me yet in this series, man, it felt like a win! Glad no one could see me as I was dancing in my seat like a school girl, lol.

Congrats to Vovik for your wins!

Great battles with many. Ugly moments with a few. Great racing all night. Apologies to CapeCod. Kudos to all but to aero clutch brnt and euclid specifically. Just the ones I remember from a very full night. And thanks to my new teammate TEAM for the ride. AREA 50-4

How did that Wide World of Sports intro go . . . something like "the thrill of victory, and the agony of defeat." That was my night right there. Fun stuff when I was near other drivers. See me go off on T2 of R2 and get stuck in a ravine at the SNAIL Race Car Series open drive.

Thx too the drivers who hit me for giving the spot back, sometimes when there's a battle in front of a driver, I know it gets frustrating but sometimes it's better to let them get it worked out. A lot of great battles and watching replay is cool to see different driving styles and other battles your not involved with.

That was TOUGH! I'm glad we all made it out alive. Very difficult course to pass on with so much down force from the bmw. Very shocked by how close the grid is at the start of the race, I'm pretty sure no other course puts us that close to one another, very interesting start. I managed to pit once on the first race and just run out of fuel at the end, the second race was definitely a 2 pit stop race. Very fast pace vovik Congrats on winning!

Sorry about my crappy start in race 1. I saw in the replay that it messed you up a bit. If I had realized that I would have totally let you buy me right away.

I have no idea what your talking about, I was satisfied with both race starts. I did have to turn a little to the right on the first race but I don't blame you, that specific course made use all start bumper to bumper so neither one of us saw that coming.
