Great races tonight, @ParkerMO125. Sorry again I messed up on start in first race looks like @Zii1993 got the worst of it and I just couldn't catch Parker after that. Second race, again Parker you were just better on tire management (or something) and could just get ahead enough...ugh. Oh well, that's what it's all about though. Pushing each other to the max. Another good night racing fellas!

Yes great racing from all, we all do great, it takes a lot of effort and focus to stay on track and push lap after lap for 40minutes(2x)

Vovik I had mixed emotions when I saw you goof up the start of race 1 :p

I realized by the second race, that the front left tire was way better off by damn near coasting most of the long right sweeper, never letting it over cook. The .300 max lost by doing so was by far worth it due to the fact that it gave me at least 3 more laps of being able to survive on it.

Good to have you on the grid tonight DC..

Thanks JT.. It was good to be on the grid.. Always a blast. My first time on that track in that car was qualifying! lol I was a hot mess. Hope I stayed out of everyone's way? I really enjoy this car. Hope to get in some practice before next week so I can attempt to keep up with the pack (Somewhat) lol and earn a spot with a respectable time. Thanks again Grim and everyone for another fun night of racing!
Cheers

I'm sure you did :P

I hate that turn (and the one before it that kinky left for that matter). I did a totally different line through there last season in the Lexus just powering through it, but that totally blew up the tire wear and I didn't have a good result because of it either. This time around I was even braking through the corner to help guide the nose through, but figures it didn't work again the best. Oh well. On to the next...

Great night of racing guys (for the most part). I need to figure out how to get some better opening laps. Not sure if I'm tired from work or just not getting in the car enough prior to the race to get into a rhythm. In any case, sorry to those I might have impacted in the first race.

Second race though was interesting and a heck of a battle in the opening laps with zii, aero, warden, brnt and I think cape. Was able to dive into the pits early by myself (very surprised) and get a clean pit in/pit out that really made the difference for me in track position. Issue was I had to be easy on the tires for the next two stints.

Anyways, I'll have the unonofficial results posted tomorrow. Have a good night everyone

I have to say that last night was my best time in RCS yet. I ran with quite a few guys I have not been able to run with before, albeit not for too many laps, but it was certainly encouraging. I am still getting used to racing so close with others and trying to drive as best as I can while being defensive.

I was very nervous thinking about KOQ, knowing it was going to have the potential of being tight and I so wanted to make the race. It ended up being ok as there were just the five of us for five spots, but to my surprise I held the fastest lap until the last five minutes when Joe sneaked into the 31's and got me by a few tenth's. I tried so hard to get into the 31's but just couldn't quite do it.

Race 1, I was having a really good battle with a few others and went one lap longer before the 2nd pit stop, put in a decent lap, only to enter the pits and lose my select screen which caused me to get a full tank! That extra four seconds allowed me to watch the others all drive past the pits, oh well, my fault, but my gas tech didn't get any beer after the race!

I was really pumped for the start of race two, there was a lot of bumping ect, but it seemed ok, I know I tapped a couple others but I suddenly got a collision penalty and went almost to the back. Will have to watch the replay. I never give up though and went on to a good finish for me.

I'm just loving this series and it's pushing me hard to improve, but I am patient and have already noticed some decent improvement since I started. This a testimonial to the great group of guys here and I can't wait for Wed night to roll around. Thanks again Grim for creating a fun night of racing, and to my teammate, who patiently coaches me during our practice together!

See you all at Spa next week.

Great racing last night, had a lot of great battles and I finally put 2 good races together, tried keeping pace with vov and Parker race 2 but almost crashed trying lol so I decided to put consistent laps and get podium. Congrats for the guys who got good finshes doing 1stop, that takes alot of disapline something I could not do

Kg I'm really sorry about the dive I lost traction and couldn't go the other way. Same for cape on the right hand kink. I touched a bit of grass and started sliding. So my apologies. I hope I didn't affect anyone's race. As it was not one of my best nights.

No problem zii, I could hear your car coming in hot so I did not enter turn right away, it did not cost me anytime.

Here are a few images of last nights excitement. I will add a few more over at the photo thread. Zii we are all good. I feel real bad for caving in brntguy drivers door on the first lap, my apologies.

Below is a preview of the upcoming potential combos to chose from for Season 7 (Mid Engine Championship). After Wednesday's races, you can place your vote (Race Car selection), via PM only, for the race car to be used for next season from one of the two listed below. You get 1 vote for each race you participated in during Season 6. Voting will remain open for 48 hours once the official announcement gets posted in the forum. Part 2, track selection, will go up for votes once the car has been selected.

I thought Nissan Championship was next? Switching it up?
The Nissan's were all "touring cars" so we made a last minute change. The long range schedule is a suggestion that I try to use however now with TCS in place, we try to make sure we are not running similar cars at the same time.

How is one to choose between these two totally awesome vehicles? You make it so difficult Grimm. Of course unless Parcells can advance through next Wednesday's KOQ (which initially doesn't appear at all easy-like) I wont have any votes anyway but also wont care.

My hope is to complete this full season so if anyone is looking to team up let me know.

We had the Lotus Elise race car on Sunday night for a long time so I got used to it but it's tough. It has oversteer/rotates around itself as soon as you let off the throttle. Always have to feed it a little something. Probably gonna make it use more fuel quickly.

I do remember a Sunday race with the Megane Trophy and it was super stable. Really light and MR for agility, and a decent amount of power to draft with.

The megane was one of my first snail races about a year ago. I absolutely loved it. But the Elise is challenging. And who doesn't like a challenge?

I do like a challenge, and I learned the car. My mistakes on Sunday were from losing focus and getting lead footed or something causing me slide and/or spin. We already drove it at Grand Valley Speedway and I think two other tracks.

I'm definitely going to secretly vote for the one on the left :)

Lotus for sure. Don't care for the megane, its handling is boring like the sls

You whispered to me that you were voting on the one that is right of the right one.

As you're looking at it or as you are sitting in it?

What's this third car you speak of?
