My take on the night.....

I really missed Aero last night, I know he was so looking forward to this combo. Under the knife again this morning for lower leg work, still incubated and pissed that he can't talk. For a guy who never shuts up, this must be killing him. They brought in a specialist to pull his nutsac back from his insides, they're still looking for his Wee Willy Wonker, the electron microscope is not powerful enough to search for something that small.

Well, I predicted mayhem and we got it, but what a blast. If anybody got through the night with a clean car.....hats off, cause my mechanics are gonna be busy this week.
It was nice to have Wog join us, he was being such a gentleman......he sure doesn't know us, eh? He does get the prize for the best take out on me of the night, last race, right near the end, it was like a drone strike that I never saw coming. I think it scared him as much as me...👍. it was right up there with me taking out BTDave, sorry:rolleyes:.
I think next week we must drive something with high DF and real strong brakes and tires, something that sticks like peanut butter on the roof of a dogs mouth. This week was loosie goosie, next week, tighty whities.

Thanks again from me and Aero to you guys for making the Lobanaro Lounge the most popular PCars league on GTPLANET. Another almost full room last night with a couple of regulars missing and more people trying to join all the time says we're doing something right. We get it, racing is supposed to be fun and it is, but the trash talk and insults bring the fun to another level that a lot of serious leagues don't get. When a league gets too serious and puts the racing first above the fun is when the trouble usual starts. Gotta win at all costs won't cut it here. We've never had a real issue in 18 months, except for that one time.......cue dream sequence....... something about boost pressures at Azure, that was as close to controversy as we have gotten and we still laugh about it today. So, the success is all on you guys, it's all your fault.

Hugs to you all, enjoy life, health and happiness.

......One of my personal highlights can be seen in this clip. Earlier I took out Hog of the Golly (Sorry Pal) and waited for him to pass again (not the highlight). We were 7th and 8th and dropped down to 12th and 13th due to the accident. I thought it was a high speed corner coming up and didn't brake and sent him flying.

The clip itself starts when I made it back to 11th and chasing a pack of cars ahead of me - getting by 5 of them in a short period of time. (Note, some where not passing - it was rather missing them....

I just watched your vid with the incident between you and Wog....the last race in the vid on California Highway.
That was so sweet of you waiting for Wog so patiently sacrificing so many positions during the wait and waiting on the side for him to pass before proceeding. I raise my glass to you bud.

Ditto to all you said Lobbie.
.....And LOL at "....they're still looking for his Wee Willy Wonker, the electron microscope is not powerful enough to search for something that small." Yup we sure missed the old bugger. I think I'll always be thinking of him especially on race nights. I really hope when he gets back home while he's recuperating if he could at least join us back in the forum page and lobby on race nights if even to lime and banter until he's able to race again. He must be missing us like crazy.

So wog DID take you out?.. ok then i guess I owe him $20.

Sorry I missed joining last night guys. I was setting up the home theater and forgot I’m now in Central, not Mountain, time zone and missed the start time.

Mike, thanks for letting us know how Steve’s doing. He’s got a long road of rehab ahead of him and he’ll get bored waiting to heal up. Once he’s up to it, can you see if he has either the Pocketmags or ZINIO magazine apps? I’d like to “gift” him some electronic copies of airplane/car/bike/tech/gaming magazines to help him pass the time. Thanks!
Steve has a subscription to Magster up here, he gets all his mags from there. Too bad you missed last night Gutter, ''twas a blast.

I said sticky for next week....here it is.
Group A
IMG_0582.JPG

GroupB will have to contend with the Bentley.

All of this will be taking place at the Lemons Bugatti circuit. Weather, I'm not sure about, I haven't tested in the rain yet but, with one track this week, you can expect something..... The Bentley only has one colour so no yellow this week.

I talked to Steve's wife around noon, they worked on putting his lower leg back together this morning and everything went well. I can't wait to see him. I've got a lot of trash talk all saved up.

Just to be clear, which group is racing with which car?
Is it:
Group A: Ginetta LMP3
and
Group B: Bentley? (and what is the complete name of this Bentley?)

Or is it the other way around? You need to be clear bro.

This is why I jumped ship from the league that I ran with on XBOX for about 3 yrs. Stopped being fun and started being to serious. Winning is awesome, but in the end it is all about having fun for me. I will be back next Monday so looking forward to it. What is the Latest on Steve?

Tick tock tick tock.......

ez David, if you were here, you might get the feel of my Bitchslap..lol.
A-Ginetta
B- Bentley
Both cars are pretty even with the Bentleys being a red headed pube IMG_0583.JPG faster which means B will be starting from the front. Fuel and laps will be up by Monday.

Steve was removed from the ICU yesterday and is now in a trauma ward. I was gonna go in today but, I have my own appointments in the other end of town. I'll know more by tomorrow.

LOL at "if you were here, you might get the feel of my Bitchslap..lol". hahahaaa
Hey and glad to hear bout Aero out of the ICU bro.

Wow guys, you’ve had me in tears more than once, I just don’t know how I can express the outpouring of good thoughts and wellwishes from all of you. All of you racing all last Monday in yellow cars was very touching. Also reading comments in the General SNAIL racing thread was very moving.
Well I’m alive and very lucky, albeit with some serious bone breakage. I was on an SV650 Suzuki on my to Montreal to see a friend for a couple of days, when a young lad decided he wasn’t going to stop. I saw him coming but when I realized he wasn’t going to stop it was too late, I was hard on the brakes and getting ready to bale but I nailed him on his front right corner with my left leg taking the brunt. I remember everything and never passed out, I went to hell for an hr in the back of an ambulance patience transfer vehicle, no suspension and no pain killer from them. Was very brutal. I am perfectly fine from the waist up. My right femur and right hip is fratured. It’s all pinned together. My left femur busted through my left pelvis and broke my left hip and it is all pinned together now. I have a torn ligament on the rear of left knee. All that above was thirteen hrs in the OR. Then on Wed it was another five hours to fix the left fibula and tibia which required a long rod down the middle with numerous pins. Then the fun part was the surgeons reconstructing my entire left foot. So that’s it on a nutshell, I am now in the Ortho rehab where they are saying I can’t put any wieight on my left foot for 4 to 6 weeks. But we’ll see, I have other plans!
Thanks again to all.
Mike visited today and it was great to have some laughs, which I’m planning on doing everyday no matter!

Awesome to hear from you Steve! And you look great. Even all banged up you still look better than the wanker in the SRM shirt. Here's to a speedy recovery. All the best buddy!!

At last. So good to hear from you Aero. We're missing you like crazy and always in our thoughts. Yeah last Monday was a night to behold with all them yellow cars in your honour. When you get a chance you should check the stream replay from McInnis with all the spontaneous convo. Get well soon bro and join us soon as you can and we also look forward to hearing more from you here also in the forum.
Lobbie was very concerned about the little pecker that they wouldn't have been able to find it.

Laughing is the best medicine... sometimes with a cry in between.... sometimes with a WTF! Glad to see you are in good spirits. Wish you well in the recovery process. Mike's muffins will help for the pain :sly:
